Roman probably uploaded his images to WinCustomize. well.. um.. not YET.. but NEXT TIME!!
Jafo, It was mainly the images in it that were the badwidth hogs. I moved them to a different site. So hopfully its solved. Ill know next time to put the images here in my gallery then link to those, not ones on my web site.

Hey all, Yeah its me again, seen my name a lot this past month maybe? Well its costing me, in a lot of ways!! I just happen to run a part time web design company, and was adding a new customer to my site when I happened to see this big red piece of text: 43.83 GB (110% used) (Over Bandwidth Quota) <font face="Tahoma" style="
Anyone use this? got ANY comments? or was it a waste of time?
Im glad you got it to work, let me know when its uploaded so i can see what it looks like! Im glad your learning DX, its a great program.
I think its possible by changing the height and the width, as well as moving the top/left each time so that the object stays "centered". You would have to add code to the shrink/grow to do this, but it shouldnt be that hard. If you have trouble please email me at skins @ Romanda . org and attach the widget and ill see if i can fix it.
RomanDA's DesktopX Tutorials: My goal is to make a set of tutorials for DesktopX. If you have ideas on what you would like to see, please email me at [email protected] <table border="0" cellpadding="3" style="border-collapse: collapse" width="
Ok.. I made a test object.. i dont think its "approved" yet.. This has 4 objects sitting on top of a transparent area, that is on top of the master back item. The mouseover causes a timer to fire that makes its width "grow". then when you move the mouse off the area it "shrinks" back. You can see the 4 objects on top of the transparent item show up and vanish this way. The Link is here, but i
initial post.. Added this! Looks like it worked! fast as crap too!
ahh i see.. win+shift+m restores it back not bad.
Zubaz.. . doesnt that just minimize everything? its not like win-D where it can restore the desktop back.
you can also use a MASK item that would cover the whole back area. I used this same setup for the GalCivII Drive Meters. There is a main object that has a masked area where the drives reside. When you expand the width of the back, and the mask it will show the drives inside the masked area. Import the drive meters as a widget and see how i did it. Try it: <a href="http://romanda.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SkinID
I believe if you click "F11" it will load the DX theme/objects onto the screen.
I belive the colors are set via RGB.. Object.SetShadow boolEnabled, sharpness, darkness, offsetX, offsetY, RGB(100,200,150) I think that is how it works. Not able to test it this min.
The first one shows the dock open, but when it slides closed it can leave artifacts on top of itself. You can see the transparent icons on top of the tabs that were/are in the dock. Not able to access IRC today, so i thought id post it here.
