Heh! Well, thank you, Wolfenblade (Colin), but Corky_O (Paul) was talking to me, 47songs (Donna). He deserves full credit for his wincustomize/technological guidance.
Aha! Got it, Paul, my wincustomize saviour! Thank you very much!!
The former WB 4+ took an obvious couple of clicks to change the colors in a blind. I can't seem to find where to change colors on WB5. I'm sure it's literally at my clicking finger tips, but darned if I can find it! Anyone with a hint or a clue as to how to relieve me of this very stressfull maladity? Am I starting to write like Bichur? <
My name is 47songs and I am a wincumize.com-aholic. One of my sons said yesterday that he had to wear his team basketball shirt two days in a row... dirty! And let me tell you, his basketball shirts wilt from the smell just after only one practice or game, so I can imagine what the other guys on his team had to experience on the second day because of my neglect! I don't have time for laundry! I have icons to make, threads to post on, skins to download.
Looks great! Can't wait!
Woohoo! Thanks Cerebro!! Thanks muchly!!

Maybe there's hope for other countries in the future. I'd love for my Yahoo mail account to have POP access. In the US you need Yahoo Plus to have access to POP.
..."thank you very mucj?" Hehe! I have a feeling your celebration has more than begun!
I'm behind the times here! Happy Birthday, Bill!! Hope you had a great one!!
Before I finished reading the whole paragraph I thought of commenting with a reference to The Twilight Zone! Heh! I could hear Rod Serling's voice as I was reading it. Very cool, Hank!
Your response to corey1138 above RESOLVED my problem. Startup programs were not an issue. Apparently, clearing the cache was the key after uninstalling IconX. Now, I can use the purchased version of IconX along with loading DesktopX "objects". Your notes & Link were used. Taking the time to visit Stardock Support on WinCustomize;
Just curious. Why do they suck? And what messenger program would you consider in place of them?
You've been waiting for this for 14 yrs? HEHEHEHE! Hells bells. I've got cuticles older than that! Yes, Sir, that's my baby! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Wink.gif" border=0 ALI

"Of all the Charlie Browns in the world, you're the Charlie Brownest." Spoken to my favorite loser of all time. "Experience is the jockey. Education is the horse." Clark Gable to Doris Day in "Teachers Pet."
I like Island Dog's software "new release" items as well, Esther, but I have to agree with your accessment of the "bloated" software packages. It's like going into a seafood restaurant and ordering steak...just because they offer it. But I believe the ideal situation is to order seafood at a seafood restaurant and a steak at a steak restaurant. In the same token, I believe it's more beneficial to use a specific dvd burner software that is developed jus
Or, you could just go to your systray and right click on the IconX icon. Click on configure IconX, then the options tab. At the bottom of that page is the option to select whether you want IconX to run at start up.
Mr. Bill! Congrats, my friend! It's a promotion well deserved!!
I don't like it. I don't like it at all. It's like Apple buying out Microsoft or vice versa. There is a monopoly in the making. And we will all be the victims.
Honestly? I don't remember. But, most likely by chance, and by surfing the net.
Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall Humpty Dumpty had a great fall. I'm crackin' up.
