Didn't know this thread was here. I'm also having problems saving icons in anything but 16x16 or 32x32. Check out my screenshot here: Link Up in the right corner in the parenthesis is 32x32 which is what they are now saving as. How can I change this?

For some reason, my icons will not save in the size I am trying to save them in. I am trying to save them in 128x128 XP size but they are saving at 32x32. I don't believe I'm doing anything differently than I have done before. I open ID and choose convert image to icon. I open a png file and select the 128x128 XP format. Click Ok. Then try to save it, but it doesn't work. Anyone have any ideas? <img src="http://images.stardock

Interesting, isn't it? When's the last thread Bichur was a part of where he spoke so little? Has the good SIR been humbled?

Actually, Koasati, I do have it enabled. I think the problem came when I downloaded the Mozilla extention to be able to revert to IE with just a click. I've spent awhile trying to figure out the problem because for both IE and Mozilla I had JAVA enabled. Once I uninstalled the extention, all seemed to work fine. Mostly, I want to thank you for your help! It certainly pointed me in the right direction! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc

Dr. Guy, I have had a Dell laptop for two years now. Congrat on your wifes new one! I love my laptop, but I believe because it's portable, there is more risk to damage. So, I really feel the best thing I did for myself when I bought it was to pay for the complete care warranty. It covers those spills, and even if you were to drop it and completely smash the thing into smitherines, they would replace it. I've had numerous occations to have to call them.

"Author's choice, and the older themes were focused mainly on system icons. The more advanced functions in IP v3 have set a new standard for including file type icons. The newer icon packages include a ".doc" file type icon, and artists are incouraged to include a greater number of file type icons." You certainly articulate that much better than I, Paul! Thank you! I've just started icon making (at least in a complete package sense) since mo

Anyone else having a problem with getting to page 2 on different pages on the site? I can't get to page 2 on my list of skins page on personal WC site. There are other pages as well. This morning I was looking at the misc icon section and couldn't get to page two. And just now I tried to add a smilie and it wouldn't work.

"Privacy Report... " Hmm, interesting! At the bottom left of my screen, which displays the site that I'm connecting to, every time I log into WC I get the words "Privacy Report" before I see that it's "done." Anyone else? I'm sure it's just some glitches in the system having to do with upgrading the site. At least I hope it is!

Teddybearcholla is an artist in every sense of the word. It's not simply her artistic manipulations (various brush strokes), or even her digital renders, it's the thought and emotion that she evokes in her work that allows her viewers to feel what she feels. To experience what she experiences. I'm sorry I haven't been able to give you more examples of "other" artists out there, Bill, but I thought it worth exemplifying a real artist's talen

I've enjoyed your readings before rabidrobot, and this one is no exception. I'm overwhelmed by the busyness of my life right now, but I can't help but stop to consider what I was doing the day John Lennon was murdered. I remember waking up to hear the news on television. It was the start of a day on a brand new job. I was supposed to be concentrating on learning my new job, but I was so numbed by the loss of a man I musically and kind of spiritually g

My mom had a stroke, a very severe brain hemorrhage. Recovery is a long slow proccess. If your speech is limited, at least you can communicate with this community on your computer. I would certainly understand if you went through a lot of anger over your condition, but I believe crissy gave you the best possible advice when she wrote that you should try to have a good frame of mind. Focus on your therapy and take joy in the things tha

Why can't ALL skins be availabe to "view" by everyone, but only the lowest scored (under 3 stars) can be downloaded by visiters (nonsubscribers)? The incentive to be able to download the better skins (3 stars and above) would be to subscribe to WC.

The original intent may have been to foster thanks for a bountiful harvest, but, unfortunately it eventually (within 50 years), turned into a blood bath of war and the imprisonment (reservations) of native american cultures and territories which permeated throughout our history. Many Americans choose to celebrate the intent rather than the actual result of our intention. It's still an important day, as a reminder, to consider i

There is a nagging bug that I find toublesome in getting icon packages put together that may be preventing more packages from being released. The icons seem to get their associations mixed up when you do an incremental save of the package you are working on. This makes it incredibly frustrating when working with a large set of ic
