6 inches. Snow that is. We had six inches this morning after having had it all melt. In fact, I mowed my lawn on Saturday. Then it snows six stinkin' inches. I'm not entirely surprised. I knew it would snow again. I just didn't think it would be as much as it was, nor stick like it did. But I am confident it will melt before too long. Yes, I mowed my lawn. Just the front lawn. The previous owner hadn't mowed

It has been a long time since I used a tabbed dock in OD+, but I swear, I should be able to have a tabbed dock that was a taskbar, and one that was a system tray. For the life of me, I can't seem to do it. Is this possible and I am just dumb? Or is this not an option? Thanks.

In fact, I'd say it's unique - to some extent. I don't disagree that it is unique in that respect. But I just don't know if that is enough to warrant the rabid love for the series. There is something else there, something I don't quite get.

I have to admit, I just don't get it. I tried GTA III (Grand Theft Auto). Didn't do much for me. Tried GTA Vice City. Same thing. I liked the sandbox nature of the game, but I guess I just don't really like playing the anti-hero. I guess I am just too much of a goody-two-shoes. Probably the same reason I maxed out my Light Side nature in KotOR I and II and swung all the way to the Open Palm style in Jade Empire. Despite that all, though, I s

A year, like the ODNT, isn't it? I thought it was for incremental updates (1.5 to 1.6, etc). Full version jumps would require new purchase, but incremental updates were inculded. I could be wrong though. Jeff: Thanks for the update. OD+ is one of my must have programs. Thanks for the work.

Wow, sorry I missed this one bud. I first experienced the joys of a panic attack the first time our foster daughter ran away. I couldn't breath, was dizzy, lightheaded, very tachycardic, flushed, and just basically thought I was going to explode. It was a bad kind of rush. Next time, I think you should just beat something. Or someone.

Not really a fan. I watched TNG on and off when it was originally airing, but going back to watch them now I cannot stand them. I watched the old movies, but never really got into them that much, and have had absolutely no desire to see them since.

I love last.fm too. Been having a lot of fun with it lately. I agree, big checks are stupid. Crap, I was going to throw that Opeth DVD in before you left.

Great article Nicky. It is fascinating for me to go back and read things I wrote 10+ years ago. My point of view is so different. Best of luck with the story.

Jenn: Sorry, but the evidence is just too overwhelming against you. The writing style is identical, you are pulling out the very same old epithets against other people. All of your "observations" center on people's past interactions with one user: Jennifer_1. You see, in the 3 years I have been here there are three people to whom I have been anything you could call nasty. Once to Lucas, when I told him to "Shut the hell up". That was the extent of my comment. Once to another user w

BlueDev - can be seen in the fray occassionally getting down and dirty, can be a nasty shit. Interesting take on things. I have, on the rare occassion, been nasty, but I have to say, you are the first person to ever characterize me as a "nasty shit". Interesting to see other's view of things. Especially since I have posted so

Thanks for the comments. I have always known the my bro rocks, but I think this was a reminder that he is just one of those people who you really can't not like. Just an all around great guy. We are all glad he came to visit.

I just have to say, San Chonino is a stud. For his spring break, he booked a flight and came out to visit us. He spent about a week with us, and it was great. He is one of the funniest guys around, is great with the little kids, and is just a lot of fun all around. He got down on the ground and played with our little ones. He joked with them, read them stories, did puzzles, and just basically let them abuse him. There aren't too many college kids who wou
