Bloody Americans, eh? Take off you hoser. To quote from one of my favorite Canadians: " Better the pride that resides In a citizen of the world Than the pride that divides When a colorful rag is unfurled " I'll leave it at that. Won't try to top The Professor.

I agree that raising the age limit is a good idea. Hopefully that will weed out some of the players who got on because they did have talent, but stayed on too long because they were "cute". This reminded me, a good friend of ours called my wife a few months ago and asked her to go to Florida and audition for AI 4 with her. My wife was unable to go (and seeing as how her due date is in March, that wouldn't have worked well!), but it will be i

Thanks for the post, by the way. (Had I forgotten to say that earlier?) Hah, no, you had said it, but thanks for saying it again. Very kind of you. Ravenblack, I have been really pleased with it. And what I really like the most about it is it continues to free up RAM as it runs. With it on,

Interesting, I hadn't noticed that. Thanks for pointing that out. I had just downloaded it directly from the Klitetools site. I did do a little more hunting around on the FreeRAM XP Pro site and found the following (directly from the site): But wait, I thought these "RAM freeing programs" were useless, especially on W

Essencay, I have a Mobility Radeon 7500 (64 megs). Not exactly what you are looking for but I will pass along my info if it helps in any way. 1. XP Home with SP2 2. Windowblinds version 4.40.036 (ODNT sub) 3. Hyperpaint disabled (I assumed that since it was disabled automatically that it wouldn't help me. Should I give it a go? I thought my vid card was too old) 4. No 5. Omega Drivers version 2.5.90 built off the Catalyst 4.10 betas 6. Hardware Acceleration set t

BlueDev, I have in prior years (particularly just post-college) been a poster boy for the "fish-belly white" geek coloration. Playing more ping-pong instead of more frisbee recently has probably started me on the road back to that.... Oh, and the only problem with all-white contacts is that there has to be the clear spot i

I am a total tech junky. That doesn't mean I know a lot really, but I love computers, technology, new gadgets and new programs. At times I will browse software sites and look for new programs, read up on them, and maybe give them a try. Today I found some real gems that I just had to share. All of the following programs can either be downloaded or linked

But I do enjoy reading your blogs and I hope you keep 'em coming frequently! Why thank you! I plan on continuing, gunning for article 100 soon, a milestone for me considering that at about #40 I very seriously considered stopping altogether, walking away, a

I find it humorous that the original author and one other seem to think that fanatics from only one side would do such things. NEWS FLASH: This just in. A recent reality check revealed that there are, in fact, nut jobs, whackos, and flat out freaks on all sides of the political spectrum. We now return you to your regular daily blogramming.

(Note also on the last one, how the exposed portion of my stomach has been completely whitened also....) Uh-huh. That was what I thought. That was why it was so white! (this coming from quite possibly one of the whitest men on eart

I just cannot imagine not taking a shower more often than that. I will admit, I have skipped a shower in the morning (some days when I had to be in to pre-round on my patients before 5 am I just couldn't get myself to do it), but I will still take one in the evening. And yet people can still be so completely, blissfully ignorant of their poor personal hygiene. It boggles the mind.

Since my decision to blog more frequently I have, on more than one occasion, sat in front of the computer with a glazed over look. "What should I write?" Eventually an idea will come or I will simply ramble on about some insipid thought I had (hey now, I don't need anyone pointing out that all my blogs are like that, I know they are!). Or I even

Karma-Jessica is 5 and Aubrey will be two in about 3 months. I am going to try to get this on video tonight. If I do manage to get it I will post a link for anyone who is interested. It really is great to watch.

It really was hilarious. I have never seen her do this before, neither has my wife. So it would appear this was just something she figured out today. We had a good laugh.

It has only been recently that my blog evolved legs and crawled from the depths of the low 70's to enter the 20's. So why would I want to give you more points? No, I want to take them away. Mwahahahahahahahaaaaha. a.a..a. ack. *AHEM* Sorry, something caught in the throat there. Now what was I saying? Oh, yeah, more points. Okay, more points all around. Have some points on me Tex! No wait, I wanted to take them, no, oh, ARGH!<b

I popped my new Fates Warning CD in the home stereo today to give it a spin there. Jessica loves to dance, and loves "rock 'n roll", so she immediately jumped off the chair and started jumping around, crazy as could be. It was hilarious, especially seeing her try to dance to the beat of progressive metal (for those who aren't familiar, the genre is well known for we

(I don't think you have the right to label me that until you get to know me and can appreciate just how much a lazy dirtbag I am - no free rides here) That cracked me up. Seriously, that was one of the most, out of the blue, funny things I have read in a while. Thanks for that. <TABLE cellpad
