Excellent comment Zubaz. Gets an "Insightful" from me. I agree. I don't see where the nerdgasmic factor comes in with Macs. They are nice, no doubt. But these days, what can a Mac do that a Windows PC can't? Nothing that I know of. And as far as the camera commercial, I agree. I haven't had any problem with any of the devices I have run on my Windows PCs over the years, especially in the 4 years I have been using XP. Ag

By now, I am sure most of us have seen the new round of Mac vs. PC commercials. You know, the one with the middle age, sort of uptight looking, fuddy-duddy dude in a suit representing a PC, and the young, hip, cool, laid-back dude in old jeans and a T-shirt representing a Mac. I have seen a couple of variations, but they all focus on the same thing. They all are trying to convey the same message: Macs are just cool and "work", whereas PCs are out of touch, laborious and problematic.
With the current glut of hip-hop acts, what is an up and coming band to do to set themselves apart? The answer is decidedly simple: write actual music. Meet JC Ronikal , a four piece band hailing from the great Down Under, looking to make their mark on the music scene by doing what they love. The beginning of 2006 saw them completing the recording of and polishing their first EP, Thus Far... Since that time, they have been working hard to g
If someone else has passed this little tidbit along, I apologize. But I haven't seen it yet, so thought I would mention it. Skype , the very popular VOIP application (voice over IP) has announced that, at least until the end of the year 2006, it is free to call land lines via Skype, as long as both the caller and the callee are in the US or Canada. Skype is a great little program that allows people to make free "phone calls" from computer to com
Excellent article Maso. I believe it was my desire to avoid this terrible malady that led to my wife and I holding off on getting cell phones for so long. And even still, when I am calling to tell her I am on my way home (or vice versa) I basically say "Hey, see you in a bit" and anything else can wait until we are face to face, to avoid just such idiocy. In the past, when I see someone completely ignorant of their surroundings, as they are so absorbed by their phone, pull
You look great Tex! And, yes, Zofran is great!
Not sure about the older MSN version, but in MSN Messenger Live you can have your contacts listed by their real name instead of their nickname. And Trillian does that as well. Yeah, I am finding out just how little I know of these programs.
I can't see anything either Gid.
Wow. Just wow. The stupidity of some people never ceases to amaze me.
Having just barely purchased an XBOX 360, and started investigating XBOX Live, this looks like a lot of fun. Thanks for the review.
An excellent and most insightful article Brad. Many thanks for writing this.
Why not just use your own nickname for them? All three major clients offer that functionality and almost every multi-headed client does too. Hehe, well, with that right there bangbang, you have exposed my lack of experience with IM clients. It doesn't surprise me that you can do that, but I never thought to look for the option. Hec
No, it isn't anyone here. Just some random people who are on my contact list. I agree with you Jafo: Switch it up too often and bye-bye.
I have a lot of pet peeves. Perhaps I am just wound too tight or something. But I admit, there are lots of little things that bother me. A little while back, San Chonino wrote an article about the idiotic use of capital and lower case letters all jumbled up. That drives me nuts. But I have noticed something that bothers me even more. People who cannot keep their online nickname the
That was great. Thanks Maso!
Wow... and she even got the version with the hard drive and the wireless controllers... now that's true love! I know! Pretty sweet. She is a true gem! That's for sure! Mod
Now, I know that material things really aren't the measure of how much you love a person. But, they can serve as demonstrations. And my wife just shocked me this afternoon. Big time. Meet my new toy: Yep. She brought me ho
Congrats to you too, Dr. Stanty!
And what a beautiful family you have too. Why thank you, friend. They are pretty amazing. Raven!!! Wow, I feel honored. Thanks for stopping by! Thanks Locamama! I appreciate your comment.
Thanks for writing that Toni. Maso is quite the guy, and it is good to hear from those who really know and love him.
No way! That is a wild story man. Hope the head is all right!
Now go forth and heal stuff! Wangs!!! I'm going to heal wangs! Seriously though, thanks for the kind comments.
Thanks for the comments!
Well, I will try this one more time. I made a little slideshow of some photos as well.
Well, let's try this for the third time. . . I am officially done with "school". I have been hooded, Pres. Broadhead bestowed upon us the degree of Medical Doctor, and I have my diploma. I have to be honest, given that this has been a goal for well over half my life, and something to which I have been working since High School, it is great to be done with this portion of my training. No, I haven't finished residency, but I am a Dr. now. <A href="http
