In a rush? Clock-watching can actually waste time and increase your anxiety. Sometimes you can't avoid it, but this weekend, try observing your inner clock rather than the watch on your wrist. Eat when you are hungry. Sleep when you are tired. Work or play when you are energized. Then, take what you've learned about your own daily rhythms and apply it to your regular

For those of you that consider it pedophilia when an adult attempts to have sex with a fourteen-year-old, what do you think of Canada, which allows adults to have sexual relationships with fourteen-year-olds? Do you consider Canada to be legalizing pedophilia? If not, then would a pedophile who moved to Canada with his/her fourt

I don't know if I'd ever prefer doing something like dishes over catching up with friends. These days, I prefer to do my catching up with friends right here at home....a nice bottle of wine, a cut throat trivia game, some good music.....that's a wild night!! <img src="../images/smiles/lol.gif" border=0

There's a time and a place for everything, and this is the time and the place for us to ask for assistance from some 'Big Guns'. Good luck to the both of you....and I really hope this helps get things moving again. For what it's worth, I think this is the right decision. You can sit back and be patien

This is often simply the "public face" girls put on their sexualioty at this age. It is a whole nother story when they are anonymous and online I assure you. Maybe many girls, but not this particular one...I've heard her talking to both her older sister and to her best friend....she has zero interest in

Maybe I am just an old married woman with kids too, but sometimes, not often, but sometimes it feels better to get something done around the house than to go out and party. Well, if you read my article about how DH and I celebrated our anniversary this weekend, sans children, you'll see that the majorit

As for keeping track of what your child does on the internet, sure..go for it, warden. Children feel betrayed if they found out you read their diary, Or their email. When do you start to trust them to make the best decisions? Should they be allowed online (without direct over-the-shoulder supervision) if they are too little to do

I have an 11 1/2 y/o daughter, who constantly comes home from school complaining about her peers who are 'dating' boys and bragging that they kissed them, held hands with them etc. WTF??? Who taught these kids that they need to pair-bond before they're out of puberty?! I know what you mean....I don't

When you're in a hurry, have you been known to make silly mistakes, such as spraying hair spray where the deodorant should go, or vice versa? Look for the humor in your absentmindedness rather than grimacing in embarrassment. Have a healthy laugh at your own expense. People who can laugh at themselves make better marriage partners. They tend to be more flexib

besides, i don’t think i know of one single couple that did have sex on their wedding night. in fact, most of them report that, having endured several endless hours of several hundred drunk relatives and several thousand photographs, all they wanted to do was stop smiling, get their stupid outfit off and go to sleep.

I've always had my girls accounts set up so they can't use chatrooms, can only email and instant message with specific people (family and friends)...and neither of them ever complains about it. As they get older (they are now 14 and 11), they will most likely get a little more freedom--but they will not get away from Mom sitting next to them, or at least in the same room with them. I have reasons from my own experience not to trust online personas.....

Parents, if you have kids that frequent these chat rooms, your child could be having conversations similar to the one I had this morning. Keep an eye on them when they're on the net. [/quote} Ever since we've been online, my girls...and my son until he was 16....were on accounts set up so they cannot enter chats, and they cannot receive messages from anyone they do not already know...family and friends from school. Not to mention the fact I

So, it would seem that my feeling of uneasiness is somewhat justified. Don't misunderstand me, I want to see these losers exposed as much as the next person. But, I want to see them prosecuted, to see them jailed, to see their names of the Sex Offender's registry. I want to see the job done properly, with the backing of law en

Face it, Dharma....you're an old married lady, complete with children.....the good old days are gone...... I'm kidding, I'm kidding!!! (If you come to W-P, we will have to go out some night and put THAT idea to rest! ) So, that's what there is to do in

So, if that's an option, why are we having to go though all these other hoops? Because that's the way the AF does it, that's the way it's supposed to be done, was my answer. Like I said, there's an easy way, and then there's the AF way. Having been an AF wife in a previous life , I can tota

I know what you mean. After all, after the first Lord of the Rings movie, it seemed as though they were simply milking it. Thankfully, unlike the Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter is actually good! I have read Harry Potter and think that it's alright but I heard from someone that she is writing two more books so that Hollywood can make more films. I don't know about but I think that The movies wil get old with people and become like The Land Before Time! Even though I liked the Land Before Time when I was a kid and I still

It does, however, reinforce my decision to not let my 11 year old daughter have unsupervised internet access, or access to chat rooms - period. Very true....especially after I checked out some of the "kids only" message boards and chat rooms on our ISP.....totally inappropriate for any child of mine....

1.The cost. School uniforms are always expensive. For instance, at my little brothers primary school the jackets are an odd $35 and the microfibre jackets $60!!As students have to wear uniform every day parents would have to buy several socks, t-shirts, long sleeved t-shirts, shorts, pants, dresses and skirts(girls).
