Wow! The planet terrain tiles are starting to look real nice. I'm not sure if color is really needed for the small icons if the shapes are distinctive enough. I'd like to see the other tile highlights for the upgradable tiles first and than see if the colored icons would clash with the other colors in the tiles themselves and the colors of the highlights. Sometimes black and white objects are easier to see when everything else is colored. <img src="htt

I really did not find corruption in other games to be fun. And afterall, the game should be fun to play and not tedious.
The leader concept does not appeal to me. This should be an optional component introduced as an expansion, if its added at all.
Could you perhaps give us a tile legend to refer to? I agree, that with a tile legend, this tile map would be easy to read. I think you are on the right track.

my opinion. I like the idea of choice at setup between more fixed and more random. This way more people are happy.
