Your Resolutions sound great. I think it is wise, not doing the Atkins diet, but cutting back on your carbs. Sure, the Atkins diet works, but once you fall back into old habits the weight comes back... sometimes more than you would like. After going off the Atkins diet I cut back on carbs, and found more healthy positive results. Good Luck to you... -Karen

I love waking up for a midnight snack and notcing the large cake pan, ice cream carton, soda bottle, etc... has one portion (if not that) left. It is as if the last person to partake has left the message of either: A) "Screw you, I want you to do the dishes." B) "I didn't want to appear as the pig for eating the WHOLE thing." C) "I wanted to leave you a taste... just so you can see what you were missing." D) "I am helping you watch your waistline. Consider it a favor.

18, May... I showed him my photo album. Why? We are definatly talking more on a friendly/friend Basis- I adore him. He is amazing. I want more. I am in my new place. This would be the second night. It is rather boring... I suppose it hasn't sunken (word?), that this is MY place. I still feel restricted- odd? I need a job. I have no regrets on walking out of Big Boy. What the fuck was that? I am worth so much more! (Pauses for a smoke). *2:22 AM* Ok, I

Thanks to twisted minds, this article appeared in my inbox this morning. This is too good NOT to spead unto others. Enjoy: What the Hell did I cram in my Anus Last Night? By Kyle Fitzer Oooooh. Gahhh. I'm really paying for it this time. I tell you, I've got to start being more careful. I'm not getting any younger. I don't even remember: What exactly did I cram in my anus last night? It feels like I drove a Mack truck through there. Thank God for Bufferin

Everyday while heading across campus I have to walk past the cemetery located on the North end. Often I would chuckle, because of the irony of a cemetery located next to the Student Health Center. It is obvious the burial ground was there before the Health Center was built, but I cannot help but to question what the hell university officals were thinking when breaking ground for the new establishment. "Geez, well this Freshman won't make it past 1st semester anyhow. We'll treat his

Actually, not twisted at all. I once had someone tell me their's would be a cross between The theme of "What's Happening", and ABBA's "Dancing Queen". The eccentic part is he was one of those Hard-Core Wrestling types... and he was being serious. *Ponders* Mmmmm.....

Dan, LOL, I know a few other employees that were absent that day wished the same thing. I know not a smart thing to do, but we are learn. I have to say it is an experience that I would not change, but in the end never do it again. -Karen

We have all had crappy jobs at some points, before landing a career in our profession. If you haven't I point my finger, and snobbly ask you to pull it. I have worked shitty jobs from a Laundromat to Taco Bell, but in return I have had some pretty awesome jobs. The one job I never minded going to was when I was a cashier at a grocery store. Food Town was (hence I said was) a local chain to the Toledo area. After high school I moved to my grandparents (from Chicago) for the sum

Jeremy, I was having a discussion with my brother over the holiday about this topic. It is true people do take... what is the word... pleasure?-- upon viewing distruction wheather it be of a person or an object. Thus why cult films are made (i.e. Faces of Death). Anywho... I know in some states prisoners are charged per day during their sentence. When they are released they are forced to do community service to re-pay the state. Those who are "lifers", are sometimes given the opt

Ever meet people that should have Theme Music? You know what I mean. Let us take for example the White Trash family in your neighborhood. Their's might sound something across between the theme of Roseanne and Sanford & Son. I met this woman the other day while getting my daily cup of brew. She had this beautiful blonde hair, nice smile, but the most annoying voice... sorta like Fran Drescher. We talked as we waited for our coffee, and all I could think about is this disco sounding musi

I had this Religion/ Lit class this past semester that would make any sane individual turn to a life of drinking and heavy drug use at the end of the term. I have been cleaning out drawers, notebooks, etc... and I came upon random thoughts I wrote in disapproval towards this course... I'll let them speak for themselves...... The Last 15 mins of class- Well things profound or "worthwhile" be reviewed? Or will it be nonsense just as its always been? My nose is dripping a substance

*Lights Smoke* Ahhh... Since I have been "home" (childhood), the first time for more than a day, I was digging through old journals I have kept for as long as I can remember. Of course a sheepish grin always appears across my face as I read a carefree 13-year-old's dreams. Sure that was almost 10 years ago, but it makes me think as to how ambitious I have been over the years. Also what I said I would do with my life, and have I really done it? The handwriting is also another thing I

As I promised... Here I told you why Ceramics is Dirty, why not bring on the innuendos of Glass Blowing. If one were to walk into a hot-shop, and never been around one before... you may begin to think the Glass artist had their mind in the gutter. Well they don't... well... maybe. They are just using common everyday lingo around the studio. 1) Were else can you "Paddle a hot bottom" to make it smooth. 2) "Jacking" is done quite often, and is needed to break your piece

I have taken corses in glassblowing, and have several friends who are into the art. It is a fun and unforgiving medium to work in but quite rewarding. I personally enjoy casting glass, and making blow-molds.

*Lights Smoke* Ahh at the beginning of every year I suppose it is a tradition/ ritual to look up what Astrologers have predicted for the up and coming year. Wheather it would be on a personal basis or the world in general. As a Libra it looks as if it is going to be a struggling year (as if anything has changed). But what about the world's situation? According to Ed Tamplin (http://www.edtamplin.com/StopPress.html) In 2004 the United States re-enters a cycle

Being in Ceramics we have inside jokes in the end that are taken into literal terms. One evening at our annual Wood-Kiln firing, us bored Mudd-Slingers came up with various reasons why the art of Ceramics could be considered "Dirty". no particular order: 1) Red hot in the box 2) We all start out w/ 2 lbs. balls 3) A little ash makes me wanna flux 4) She slips, she scores 5) Put wood in the box at red heat 6) The wetter the harder to pull 7) Th

10:22 PM-- ...Ok, so I am not done yet, but I suppose this subject doesn't fit in the other "Rant". Why the odd title? I call, invite for New Years, leave a message, but alas... no call. I figure that my cell phone is out of range... I am in Chicago and thought I would be heading back to Bowling Green for a celebration, but I was wrong. That's alright though it was cool staying here. I the long run the message was made clear... not interested. Thanks for trying Manders...

9:35 PM 01/01/04 ---- I suppose this is time to begin what I would call "Public Expression".... well at least in text. Sure I am an artist ( or I think I am... 4 years of school, a life long devotion would properly allow me this title), and I suppose the idea of Public Expression would be beneficial to my career at least in the visual sense. *Ponders* I always thought these "blogs", online journals, or whatever one may call them were a waste of time. Especially after reading
