How is the "battle rank" calculated right now?
I think it is something like ATK + DEF + sqrt(HP) . Which can be totally misleading since a group of adventurer can have a total battle rank of 38 and can be easily dispatched by a starting supercombatant sovereign while a troll has a battle rank of 36 and will always kill a starting supercombatant sovereign
And even still, 28 turns is enough to build a small force of redshirts to defend against such a strategy.
I am wondering what you could build in 28 turns as defending force
Just because you have a high battle score doesn't mean you will be able to cut through 100 hp of redshirt before being taken down yourself.
I guess it depends of the stats of the redshirts and their number. If they have only 1 ATK against 8 DEF, they will have a very

In the following save game http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5057853/1z1_attack_sov/pb%20autopilot.EleSav , if you decide to attack the ennemy sovereign near you, and win the fight, the ennemy sovereign will teleport to his city, which is normal. What is abnormal is the fact that you will have immediately another fight with him. When the fight ends after your win, it appears that you have followed him to his city which ha

I have started some games with the pariden and a custom sovereign. Then I decided to start a new game with another custom sovereign and the gilden race. I have choosen to play against the 4 available race. When I met the Pariden, I was surprized to see my previous custom sovereign has the pariden sovereign. After looking into the faction_parinden.xml file in my games/Race directory, I found that the SovereignUnitType data was set to a custom sovereign.</
I strongly dislike the global resource system. Not only does it make 0 sense, it allows the player to instantly create massive cities within one turn (provided enough resources are available).
How global ressources make 0 sense while global currency make sense? After all, as soon as you found gold in a goody hut at one side of the map, you can use it for building an improvement in a city on the other side. Same for income generated by improvement.
You can instantly build a massive level 1 city.
Which implies build in one turn lots of thing on a new founded city isn't really the same than
you can instantly begin construction on anything you want.
And how is it different from the Civ series with the quick buy feature when you have enough gold?

With the following save game http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5057853/1z1_pb_end_turn/pb_end_turn.EleSav , when I click on the end turn button, the game is stuck in the current turn. I am still able to go to the main menu and exit the game.
I rather like the cloth world map with the lead figures. Will you keep this graphics mode as an option in the retail release??? please.
The cloth map is the "tactical view" of the game. It is the map at max zoom out.

I have seen that on the top left there is an empire tree view with your sovereign and your cities. When clicking on the leftof the bigger city icon, the smaller cities icons are deployed/undeployed. But when you try to do the same with the one associated with your sovereign, nothing happen, even if you have champions or other unit available
