For non french speaking people, here is what he says: Hello everyboy! I have just installed GC2 and no way to activate it .! I live in France and I have bought it on Internet from Amazon. I am sad, please help Robyamor, quel est ton problème exactement? Quel message d'erreur as-tu? Pour information, les sites suivants sont des sites francophones sur GC2: http://ww
Crap I just pre-ordered and forgot about using my tokens. I think I have like 8 left.
Well, since it isn't yet listed on the TGN website, you couldn't use tokens to preorder it immediately ;)
Well, they are differents things for a non us customer to take in account: - you will pay your game in $. It is your bank that will convert it to euros, with a commission fee. - the download only version is 5$ cheaper than the box version - if you choose the box version and you are from europe, you will have 20$ in shipping and handling and possible custom taxes
But, the important question is....when can we pre-order, and when can we get our hands on the Beta?
Well, the preoder phase has already started: http://www.demigodthegame.com/preorder/

Concerning the french version, if you really want to play in French you should try to look at the unofficial french translation here http://trans-galactique.forum2jeux.com/ What is your version of GC2? You will need to update it in order to be able to play DA. And that requires that your GC2 serial id is linked with your e-mail. And you really need to use the same e-mail when ordering from Stardock. Bef
Demigod will be available worldwide at retail on launch.
Does this also mean that it will be localized in various languages like it can be required for release in some european countries? I hope the language is correctly handled (like it is in GC2 I think) in Demigod to limit problems that can arise when upgrading a localized version, especially for multiplayer play ... I also hope that some problems encountered with the retail distribution of GC2 in Eu
Is there no way to... securely use paypal to preorder then? It's very much one of the most user friendly ways and i bet that it would entice more people to preorder.. Rather than wait for the release (obviously unless they REALLY want the beta
Well, I think that the problem with paypal is that the item must be charged immediately, when the preorder process charges you only when you have access for the first time to the game. A workaround for preorderi
Peace Phoenix, even though I suspect the Impulse browser will eventually allow digital only purchases, what's to stop someone from going to store.stardock.com and buying digital only Sins that way?
I have bought Sins through TGN tokens on the TGN website. I was just mentionning some problems with the current state of Impulse, as it should allows you to buy the things available on the stardock store. After, Stardock motto is to make things convenient for gamers. And for
Well, we should hope that a download only version would be availbale and that would work in a similar way to Sins of a Solar Empire who has a download only version https://www.sinsofasolarempire.com/store.aspx
The token system will probably fade away. I.e. you'll still be able to use it on our stuff and select other publishers stuff but Impulse itself won't use it. A lot of gamers hate it and nearly every publisher we've talked to hates it. Obviously we like it but we can't support it on our own.
Then I hope that Impulse will allow somehow to buy the download only version of a game. Currently, only the DVD version of Sins of a Solar Empire is available through Impulse.
Well, the article on gamasutra http://www.gamasutra.com/php-bin/news_index.php?story=18124 is very interesting
@Novaburst: "the 4x MoMish spiritual successor"really? Stardock are working on one? Oh my oh my oh my oh my.
Well, take a look here http://draginol.joeuser.com/article/301358/The_Hot_Project_List_at_Stardock at the end of the "my games" section.
Message: Running fullscreen
Well, try windowed mode as it handles ALT+TAB better than fullscreen mode.
The current integration between Impulse and TGN isn't complete: - you can't purchase TGN token (contrary to what you can do on the Stardock store Website) - you can't purchase download only version. For Example, SoaSE is only listed as the version with the shipped DVD (49.95 $ + S/H) . - Some bundled versions aren't available on Impulse, like the GC1 ultimate edition or GC2 gold. - for some reason, Impulse correctly detects that I have GC2 installed on my
Obviously since it's a digital download, we can only provide the extras as digital files - so if you click the Download Updates button in the game, you'll be sent to a page where you can download: the music CD (as MP3s), the hotkey card, the tech tree poster, and the artwork posters. It also gives you the ability to get a Collector's Edition box for $5 plus shipping/handling if you want by emailing
I have looked at the various Stardock sites about SoaSE. Unless I
Well, if you look here http://totalgaming.stardock.com/games/?id=gc2da you will see that GC2 is listed in the requirements ...
Dark avatar is an extension that requires Galciv II. Have you GC2?
TA is download only. So you won't be able to get it through EB games.
what should I do in this situation???...I'm unable to play the game now bacausewhen I click the play game button a message appears and says "The product appears to be validaded but the serial number or the machine SID don'tmatch." then the start menu vanish and that's that.
delete the sig.bin file in your GC2 folder
