The warnings are there because either 1-the company thinks we are really stupid or 2-some really stupid person actually tried this. (some moron somewhere in the US is missing an eye due to a mishap with a 7-up bottle.) I believe many warnings are there because people are greedy and will pu

That is what I was pondering. My thoughts were: A) It was cloudy in one area, and not in the other. B) One person teleports C) Solar Eclipse Any other ideas? Besides the fact that it must be logical lol?

OK, so my Calc teacher gives the class this math problem, and I cannot figure it out. I have tried and tried, but each idea that I get can be reasoned away to nothing. Post your hints, ideas, or solutions(I'd rather you not, but feel free, I wont delete your post.) Two towns, A and B, are located along the Appalachian Trail. At sunrise, Pat begins walking sou

As a gamer I have been through a lot of hardware in my time:peripherals, internals, basically everything. From overclocking, anger, and just plain stupidity on my part, almost every part of my tr1ck3d out system has been replaced at some point. I know I am a little biased, because to a certain extent I am a fanboy: ATI, AMD, Chaintech, Geil, and of course, Logitech. M

I also am from a somewhat military family (Grandpa 1, Captain Air Force, Grandpa 2, Tech Seargeant Army Chem Weapons Service, Uncle, Marine Vietnam, Dad, Army MI Vietnam). I have the utmost respect for your son and your family, even more so now that I am a legal adult. I will pray for your son's safety.

Christians limit themselves by considering their theology the only truth and refusing to explore other faiths and ideas, and are thus considered closed-minded. Thank you for posting those ideas, but I definitely have a problem with the author, or the meaning I took from that piece. It is a little too biased for

"Tomorrow we will run faster, stretch out our arms further…And on one fine morning… So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past." – Fitzgerald I sit here, pondering existence and purpose. The computer clock reads 12:44 A.M., and I am very tired. Tired not from lack of sleep, nor from pain, sickness, suffering, but from confu

Personally, I believe that if I were to commit suicide it would be selfishly. My religion also says that suicide is the wrong thing to do, but who am I to judge? It is interesting that people have different opinions of what suicide is. Vikings thought that going into battle alone and knowing you were dying for a just cause to be the only true hero. Some think that refusing to eat, drink, use medications, etc. is suicide, while others think that is just

The title caught my eye, but the story confused me. #1, I dislike people who hate liberals/conservatives for no reason other than they belong to that group. #2, I am not sure what the point of the story was, possibly that he has Freudian nightmares of garage sales, and that the garage sale poster set his unconcious simmer into a boil. #3, If I were a doctor and I were this pissed off, I would hit up the opiates from my supply. , we have a lot in common. Well, I did do a little basic, then learned HTML in a week to your 2 days, and I do run XC(im not sure if you ran XC in a symbolic way, or actually did, but I am a runner.) Unfortunately, I don't have the intelligence to really do anything besides make a web page . Great article.

As a gamer, and a wannabe programmer, I always thought writing scripts/macros for games for fun. I also suggest Visual Basic. However, a word of caution. Comp. games can become a large part of a kids life, as it was mine until a couple months ago due to some problems, make sure your child understands the importance of a social life/regular physical activity as to balance it out.

Interestingly, I am a Christian, or, even more interesting, a Catholic. Now you may say that the Bible hands you everything on a platter, but many people believe very differently, including myself, in that the Bible and the belief in Jesus holds many more mysteries. I feel that the saying old saying of You need to learn you know nothing in order to learn, which can be interpreted into, The more you learn, the more you learn that you know nothing. I bel

I thought I would not post again, but this is something special. I posted a "How can God not Exist" article hoping to change a few peoples perspectives, but it didnt do any good. Many people on this site probably thought, "What a loser trying to prove God exists. He just does." I cannot prove to someone anything, but I feel that this is very interesting. An

Im not a big fan of Heavy, but I hate rap. Heavy can be defined as music because of the use of instruments. Rap usually cannot, cause thats waht it is, rap.. How would you define Heavy? Many say Metallica is heavy metal, but they have interesting and insightful lyrics, not just about sex, drugs, etc etc.

I have not logged on JU in what seems ages, which I feel a little guilty about. Therefore, I am writing this article to help explain my abscence. I feel totally apart from everyone. No person has felt my soul in a way that has surprised or astounded me, except for maybe my parents because of my development in their household, which allowed them to understand

I havent been on in a while and havent responded to these as I should have. First off, I am Pro Life 100%, and not just because of the Catholic Church, that is my own belief. Second thing, we ask for intercession from Mary and the Saints for obvious reasons. First off, how is it not a good thing to have people praying for you, and since we believe in eternal life because Christ died for us, they are alive and try to help us, just like if I asked you t
