"And don't come and say that Canada and the USA is the same thing, I'll make you eat your hat!!" Wait a minute. They AREN'T?? *runs before paxx reaches for the hat*

Someone's asking to be exiled... "oh por Dios! Has usado alguna vez estos programas?," Sí. " por que te has referido a las layers como un vano elemento mas del programa. " Nunca dije "vano." Pero no puedes negar que son un elemento del programa, por naturaleza. "IN FEW WORDS, HE IS SAYING OBJECTS(FOR PP) AND LAYERS(FOR PS), PERFORM THE SAME FUNCTIONS. SOMEONE STOP HIM, PLEASE!"
I threw an extra "of" in there. Don't shoot me, Jafo
"Do you know how to deduce, conclude...?" Yes. I've worked with both PhotoPaint and PhotoShop and have concluded that Layers are just Objects with a different name. "...do you have brains?" Enough to speak proper English despite of being a foreigner... "can you use them for yourselfs, or you just let that your impulses, generated by so many Television or McDonalds hamburgers... etc, drive them for you?" Sería bueno que dejaras de estereotipar a los mi
"You could also make this kind of text yourself " They did This site is owned and operated by Stardock, makers of WindowBlinds In fact, "Bradley Wardell" is our fearless Administrator, Frogboy.
You still haven't explained how layers and objects are different...
I use Photoshop for heavy-duty image work, but for everyday stuff and minor edits, I use PhotoPlus 5, which is free and looks and feels a lot like Photoshop. It also loads a lot faster
Y'know, the title to this thread made me think there'd be some grautitous nudity inside. Don't ever trick me like that again.
Food for thought...
Reading a post on a message board that explains how to hack uxtheme.dll on your own: Free. Hex editor: Free. Bypassing TGTSoft and their unethical business practices: Priceless.
Koasati, while using the icons that came with an OS is technically a rip, Apple suffers nothing by our usage of them: No loss of money, or business, or prestige. An inidivdual who has his work ripped suffers from at least one of the above, and in the case of pro teams like Pixtudio, ALL of the above.
Beautiful...
Oh yeah! I'm on the mailing list Free Maya... Free Maya...
Ohh. Sorry, my bad I don't know about demos, but there is a modified version of MAX aimed at game developers. It's call GMAX. The interface is pretty much the same as that of regular MAX, so it might work as a demo. Not sure about which formats it works with, though. Since it's free, I supposed it has several features disabled. You can check it out at: http://www.discreet.com/products/gmax/gmax_ind
I'd say have Kuri apologize to disciple and formally request permission to use his adapted icons. If disciple agrees, the package stays. If not, it does not. Salomonic, eh?
Surely you're not asking for warez.
hehe, I feel that way sometimes, Robb... I've been on the OD network for half a year now and still haven't thoroughly explored all the goodies in it. Oh well, just one more reason to renew my sub when it runs out
Yes... Expensive, flashy, and not at all essential.
I'm all for keeping it the .SUITE format, and it'd be nice if it became a standard. I certainly suffered a lot during my "aqua phase" trying to find exactly the right components to mimic some screenshot I saw at aqua-soft I don't think it's VITAL per se, but if it's allowed to thrive, it could be a big step in the evolution and would help push skinning to the mainstream. One way to accomplish this w
I agree wholeheartedly on the plugins issue. A plugin module would shut people like Shoggot up, since any skinnable app could be easily added to WinStyles' list of supported programs, and SD would not have to open source WS to make it possible (Come on, Shog... If you had access to the WS code, the first thing you'd do is remove support for all SD applicatons.)
There's no skins tab??? Maybe you should try uninstalling WB and installing it again.
I like the Mac OS (yes, even X). But the idea of not being as free to take the machine apart as I am with my PC is a big no-no. Hell, last week I messed so much with my box that I didn't even bother to put up the side panels for a while ç Plus the idea of giving Steve Jobs money bothers me more than the idea of giving Bill Gates money. "Look at this, kids: Multicolored Macs. I've innovated personal c
chichigirl, I'm sorry if I gave the impression I don't know or care who created the skins I use (I've known and liked your work since long before I joined WinCustomize). What I AM saying is that sometimes I do look through the archives and download a few older skins and just don't pay attention to who created it unless I REALLY like it. If I can be careless about it sometimes, you can be more than certain the average anonymous user can be worse. gorman: You're right, I did take it too
Oh, boy... It'd been a while since someone tried to pin the downfall of Western civilization on Stardock. Anyhoo... "By simply creating a pack of skins for download, each individual author loses nearly all credit for their work, and they'll lose a good portion of the comments and feedback they might receive due to their skin simply being packaged with 10 others. Their skin is simply part of a group now, and all individuality of it is lost. The user sees the work, uses it, but
