You have to have the Icon Packager program installed. Once it's in your system, all you have to do is double-click on the *.ip files and they'll be automatically added to your icons collection.

How can I set the explorer windows to be transparent? I don't see the option anywhere.
"ooh wow orange. i'm just saying it ain't a big deal if someone takes your idea. it's not like the world is going to end because of it." Of course it's not going to end. Doesn't mean we shoudl take it. "i have had numerous ideas stolen from me. you don't see me making a big deal about it." Bit of a pushover, are ya? "that's life." Life is what you make of it. If y
Oh, brother :o I had NEVER noticed the subsections!!! I'm freakin' blind! Not to mention embarrassed. I've been coming here for almost a year and had NEVER seen the top menu! Uh... Carry on, nothing to see here...
Why not split it in two? Maybe a "components" section and a "full themes" section. It'd make finding what we're looking for that much quicker
No, it's not "OK." You obviously have never published any type of media. Being ripped off is insulting, not flattering. It doesn't matter if they make money off of it or not.
Me? Nope. I just have a REALLY generous father. He got it for me as a Christmas gift I would never have spent the cash otherwise.
Jamie, there are some PSP tutorials in Jasc's own page http://www.jasc.com/gatut.asp? http://www.jasc.com/tutorials/tptsites.asp? http://www.jasc.com/tutorials/archive.asp? Plus a lot of the Photoshop tips can be adapted to PSP.
Great links, everyone! I know I wasn't the one requesting them, but I'd like to thank you all for posting them. My printer is gonna work overtime tonight
It IS beta. My point is that the version that was released onto the OD network and the one available to the general public are the same thing.
Hmm... I installed OB 0.75 like a week before the announcement came. I think there's only one version of OB 0.75, it's just that the announcemt came a little late.
If the skin is in WBA format, double click on it so it'll be added to your skins list. If it's in zip format, click the "Add" button next to the skin list menu.

You're not compensating them for the "loss of the software." You're compensating them for the man-hours and expenses it takes to put together a software package. You are -say it with me, now- licensing the software. Do you gripe about paying to go see a movie? You don't get to take it home, and the theater keeps its copy.
IconPackager can replace your cursors, provided the author of the pack included any.
Craeonics, you pay for electricity, don't you? That's also an intangible good, but you benefit from it. Your OS cost money, didn't it? What's the problem with paying for a piece of software that provides you with the functionality you want?
DISCLAIMER: I don't work for Stardock, Mirabilis, Nullsoft, Microsoft, and/or Apple. This is just my personal opinion. "Much harder to ignore, massive response by Brad, other "involved" (?)people, declaring war all around." Defending oneself isn't the same as waging war. As for the other "involved" people, well, friends help friends out. This wasn't a case of two companies ducking it out through press releases. This was one company launching a smearing campaign against
I wasn't trying to drag you into a debate, Integer. But I wanted to reply to your points, again, from my own perspective. No hostility was intended
"This is you, Brad, asking your own registered users to visit CNET and vote for your software. Sure, you put across reasons for doing so, but they are null - all the reasons you give apply to every piece of software on CNET, not just your own. I also note that you didn't specifically ask for a positive vote - but what other vote would you expect from your registered users that frequent your newsgroups? The intentions are obvious, and damaging. It not only promotes your product, but in turn harms
I think that for the crowd that think Stardock's evil and all that jazz, it IS an issue of free vs. pay. For me, it's simply an issue of convenience, as Brad said. - There are skinning programs in the freeware realm, but they're not worth it when compared with what $20 get me (WB3 and access to almost 1,500 skins). - Sure, I could use Litestep, but I don't wanna spend time trying to get a theme to work. With NextStart and DesktopX, it's plug and play. - I can use the
Free game! Sweet! It's like a crossover between Missile Command and Kaboom. I blame Stardock for the addiction this is already causing
Most new skins aren't zipped, as they come in WB's own WBA format. I suggest right-clicking on the link to the skin you want, and then selecting "save target as..." Once you've done that, just double-click on the WBA file and the skin will be automatically added to your skins list. If the skin comes in zip format, you'll have to install it through your display properties menu ("skins" tab)
I agree, a Trillian section is in order
Yep Running WB3.09 on Win98 right now.
