Hi everyone Tuesday morning and I'm at work. Life is going amazingly at the moment. Isn't that crazy? I think sometimes it's much more acceptable to talk about the bad things that are happening with your life than the good things, because talking about the good things can come across like you're bragging. But bad things happen to everybody, so you can talk

champas, my view is that politics is a little like music... hear me out here... all the best bands are making music that uses so many of the "labels" that it can't really be classified. however moderate use of the labels (eg. rock, soul, classical, punk) give people a starting point to understanding what you're all about. you're leftish. keep explaining from there. it's interesting.

you mentioned little bubbles of nothing and i thought you were going to start singing the praises of mountain dew, lemon squash and other such carbonated delights. now i'm disappointed, although immeasurably enlightened. Teegstar (rocks the multiverse)

Hey everyone It's a lunch break at work at the moment so I thought I'd seize the opportunity to say hi. Sitting down at the computer very briefly on the weekend I realised I couldn't remember the last time I'd used the internet at home. Usually after being in front of a computer all day at work I have better things to do, and I don't usually feel right blog

Each time I sit to write a blog I am hit with a massive decision. What category do I select? I can never seem to pick an appropriate category. The things I choose to blog about seem to be too random or trivial to warrant a category of their own. So most of my blogs just get lumped into the "miscellaneous" category. Good old miscellaneous. He and I are becomi

all the best for your last-minute wedding preparations, alison! if you know this guy's the one for sure, then focus on that and hopefully the pre-wedding (and everything else, it sounds like you have a lot coming up!) jitters will take care of themselves!

hooray for nick!! that is very sweet of him. i hope you find the right dress hey janders you should take a leaf out of trina's book -- most of the clothes she wore when she was pregnant weren't special "maternity" clothes (which i reckon they jack up the price on because they're specialty items) but were just larger clothes with the right kind of cut or stretchier material. </fo

I feel like I'm working in a wind tunnel. There's a breeze whipping around my ankles and my ears are filled with the sound of rushing air. Yes, I'm in my office. The reason for the windiness in my place of work today is because yesterday the office manager arrived to find the whole office area filled with water. Some creative vandals had stuck a fire hydrant

that is so cute! i think if i was in a more cry-ey mood i would have cried (considering i'm at work though it's probably a good thing i'm in a non cry-ey mood)

if people are apologising to you for their behaviour, i think they're the ones who are feeling guilty (and you definitely shouldn't have to). i've been in that situation before and you feel like a teetotalling weirdo but on the one hand, the people you feel uncomfortable around aren't going to remember the way you were the next morning (coz they're too drunk) and on the other, if you're sober you can help out if anything goes awry. which isn't unusual

we didn't go to the farm. grandma got sick at the beginning of the week we were going to go. even if she had been back at home by the weekend (which she wasn't, and this was a week ago now) she probably wouldn't have been up to "entertaining". we actually ended up going to wivenhoe dam for the day instead which was cool. we saw kangaroos! my head's clearing up a bit thankfully. we saw grandma in hospital yesterday and she's not great but she'

oh my goodness. i so hope she -- and everyone, megan, the boys -- is alright. or at least approximating it. your mum came up to me after church yesterday "have you got a minute?". she said cath roberts had come into the shop the day before and told her they'd split up etc. your mum was a bit upset though because i think mrs roberts was all like "trina's not talking to rin and rin really needs her" and stuff. you know how she can be overbearing

Hello boys and girls Just me again, poking my virtual head in to demonstrate that no, I'm not dead or even seriously maimed in a way that might have affected my fingers to the point where I can't type. A brief run-down on where things stand today: I have a stuffy head and runny nose, discomfort compounded by the fact I haven't had an early night
