I don't think I would ever get anything done if it weren't for deadlines. And if we're being honest, nor would anyone else. I started today with a pile of stories to write and phone calls to make, eight hours to do it in and a pretty low energy level. Seven hours later my workload has been more than dented, it's been well mangled and even has some serious looking hole

oh yeah, stirrup pants didn't make it to singapore (too hot!) but i had some in grade six, along with the slouchy socks and hiking-style boots. then of course there was the ever so stylish leggings and sloppy joe/ bike pants and oversized t-shirt (depending on the weather). which when you describe people automatically think 80s but i for one was wearing them well into the mid-90s if i recall correctly. that's me, always on the crest of the fashion wave
yeah they sound nice. my past couple of weekends have been really nice too, doing some uni work on saturdays but in a relaxed way, then making sure i don't think about work OR uni on sunday. last weekend was nick's party, which was just sooooo lovely, it was such a beautiful day. then on sunday i went to the taylors and it was the same sort of gorgeous day outside, just hanging around, eating good food and chatting. yeah i think you have said
*makes drooling noises for an extended period of time with regards to big breakfasts at pignwhistle* yeah you mentioned in your blog that the kids were good during jersey girl. your saturdays sound nice what are you doing this week? (i think i'm writing an assignment but at least there's riverfire in the evening) what do you guys do on sundays? as for nights i'm free this week,
i love elana and barramundi too!! i heard something about mugz... drama drama drama i wanna see suddenly 30 as well!! when's good for you? how was jersey girl? i thought about wanting to see it but i don't know. go the bed purchasement! i'm excited for you! i'm sure i wouldn't have slept on a futon that long, you should get a medal or something. oh and all the best with nick and picking the right job -- he's worked hard and he deserves
fair enough -- that's for both riverfire and rocco's thing. and you're right about when would i have had a chance to tell you about sunday -- i'm sorry!! i should be more communicative so other than fishhead being a pain, what's been happening witchu?
rocco's: i think he said saturday 11 september -- potluck dinner and formal dress, everyone come and we'll do our not-so-usual-anymore thing if nick's going with tim and mike do you want to come to riverfire or will you be with elana? i didn't think you'd be able to come though, it is pretty short notice. it's good you can come to matthew's party though, that's going to be fun d
its funny how some people just have the ability to get to you like that hey. you probably did the right thing by taking the article down too -- at least he has no platform to criticise you from now.
i dont know hey.... in a way i can see his point but maybe he could have said it more nicely? and what he said to you about how "you'll love it" just seems a bit... well unnecessary.
i don't know where wicked came from but it is widely used in australia too. thanks ladycleve, i'm glad you enjoyed the post. and with regards to my referring to "rad" as new, i actually think that part of "rad"'s attractiveness is its old-school charm. kinda conjures up images of scrunch socks, slap bands and teenage mutant ninja turtles. ah, the 80s....
i read it
hmm bizarre.... try signing out and signing back in again maybe
"rad" is the new "cool", take it from me. but you do get some strange looks....
hang on what's it called? have you opened it yet?
what the...?? weird. ok i'll read the article and comment
*pouts and stomps off in the direction of the bathroom*
all right i just signed out and signed back in again -- when i was signed out i couldn't see either of the "Teegs!!" articles. we're safe!
yay! you posted this twice by the way, both of them are marked private but the first one has commenting disabled.
yeah i'm nuts but i thought you'd have worked that out by now and you can't talk, gingernut girl! yaay for acting like a kid! i've already got inkstains on my hands (the mark of a journalist) and a packed lunch, all i'm missing is a pair of mary janes, some pigtails and a runny nose.... actually i'll pass on that last one. and... i don't WANNA go to bed!!!!
hey chicken what's wrong with wednesdays? wanna write some stories for me? no i didn't write them, i think his mum did. and i think her handwriting is a little neater than mine!! they must have dropped it in, because if i had been asked to (which would have been kinda weird i guess) i DEFINITELY would have come in and said hi!! how are you going anyway? it sounds like th
I'm feeling a little uninspired this morning. This isn't such a great thing considering I have about 8 articles to write by the end of the day however I'm sure I'll be able to pull inspiration from somewhere. I don't know why I feel like this as I've actually had a really great couple of days. This morning I went to a cool corporate breakfast at one of the top 10 golf
brilliant!! i've been trying to think of a way to enter the real estate market on the cheap and i think i just found my answer
i really think i've missed something important on what's getting to you. maybe i need to go back and read some of your past blogs and their replys. however yaay for both gingernuts and chips ahoy (although i dont' feel like chips ahoy are as brilliant now as they were when i was a kid... that's probably just growing up though rather than nabisco (??) not making them as well anymore)
hey there i'm glad you didn't leave too. the internet's a funny place, i think you just have to remember why you're here in the first place -- for yourself, not others. it sounds like you had a good week too, i'm glad! love you heaps chicken, and this post contains many e-hugs!! see you soon i hope
Morning all! Just thought I'd check in before I zoomed off to uni this morning. I had a great weekend: completed an essay, planned next week's edition of my newspaper liftout (it's on pets: I get to play with puppies!), great church service, extremely pleasant lunch with friends, more great church last night followed by an impromptu social gathering with some
