Another idea is to create 2 layers Layer 1 has the titlebar with the gradients Layer 2 has the buttons Then merge the layers and select the button area, copy and then paste as a new image. Then you have the button area with the gradients incorporated.

oh, oh...now I understand...sorry, total mental block there. I know what you're referring to. I used to change that with win98. It was just an image file. Couldn't you just post your boot screen pic to the graphics or wallpaper section with a comment to its use?

I haven't really had this problem. One thing to try is to close SB, delete all the temp files, the wincustomize cookie, all the temp junk that SB uses. Then fire up SB again. All the libs should re-dl and all *should* be right again.
