I think she made statements at the end of her concert. She has every right to dedicate one of her songs. There are many celebrities that feel they have a responsibilty and should use their voice for good while they are on the stage.

I have been wondering. MadPoet has my email address and I'll let him know he can pass it on to you if you'd like. I'd like to know if you are writing somewhere, too.
I know you've been banned and I don't know if you can see or comment on articles at all, but this is a really good article!! They used fear and they are still trying to use fear. So much that won't be released until November. I wonder if he is re-elected, if it would lead to an impeachment? I'm going to look through your blogs to see you've commented and if you've mentioned writing somewh
Oh, I'm so glad she was covered! The building next to yours could be perfect, close, but not too close!! I'm hoping for you!
Absolutely beautiful! And I'm humming Brown Eyed Girl.
You keep outdoing yourself, but this doesn't surprise me. If I had a dime for every time somebody on here told me about the pursuit of happiness being a right...I'm sure you know the rest, well, I'd have a lot of dimes! I've learned contentment is the way. But this all makes me think again of one of my mom's favorite sayings that I keep trying to find out who said, but can't s
What a great blog to sign on and see this morning!
I'm sorry to hear about your sister. I always feel bad about those treasures that are irreplaceable. I hope you have stayed dry and that your family is OK. My thoughts are with your sister.
The agenda of those in office right now, scare me more on a daily basis than any threat of terror has since 9/11. I've heard nothing about this, of course. Other than reading how many women and children still die on the UNICEF page. Thanks for the insightful article.
What a unique way to celebrate it! Whatever you choose to do, congratulations on the 100 articles no matter how many times it happens.
You have asked good questions here. I'll have to think of mine in a more constructive way. My parents were glued to their seats, too. And every election night was a pumpkin pie night. The first time I remember it really meaning anything to me was how I upset I was over McGovern losing. Good article.
These are the kind of articles that tend to haunt me. The ones that should be so talked about, but so rarely are. I hope it's OK if I link another one here, stevenedalus' Wholesale Kidnapping http://stevendedalus.joeuser.com/articlecomments.aspAID=8986&s=1 People everywhere should respond to this, including the United States. I've yet to meet one person that is against the war in Iraq that I have mentioned this kind of thing to, say they we sh
You've brought up great topics that I'm so sorry I missed! It feels right now that we are moving so far away from the idea of the common good. The world would be such a better place if we could all believe more in happy mediums. You are so right. Great article.
Thanks for the link. I'm going there now. I wish that Wakonta, Sherye, Randy Spire and PoetPhilosopher were still here. I adore stevendedalus and the place is full of great writers still. This really is a good topic and I'm looking forward to reading the other link. We've been here about the same length of time, I think.
Aside from the indisputable belief that this planet is indeed miraculous — whether by divine law or by unique natural causes — and therefore highly valued and that life itself is an inexplicable phenomenon demanding the highest respect, all other values are matters of the heart and subject to ambiguity and ultimate exploration. <
What a fascinating thread to read! I saw your link on the lovemongers. Many of my favorite writers are here, though some are gone from joeuser now. I like to think that we can have our different cultures, different nations and be one world, but not under one government. but I think that we must liberate all people that are u
Wonderful article! Thanks so much for the link. Besides their personal debts, look at the national debt on their shoulders.
Thank you very much for the mention and for unblacklisting me! Jesus and Ghandi are two great examples. I've read some of your articles. Breaking the dysfunctional cycle can be very hard, it's wonderful that you have done it.
Wonderful article and links. Often when I read some of yours, I don't comment, but give a rating. Thank you for putting up the links. I don't know if it's my computer, but I can't get the first link to work. :)
I missed this first step somehow. But I think I was looking in all the wrong places.
A lovely and well deserving tribute! He is one of the joeusers I picture on a horse because of his care, kind words and defense. Great blog!
The ride can get a bit bumpy, and even though we are all going on own directions, we're still all on the same journey. Sometimes it can be the Magical Mystery Tour...
I'm so sorry about your loss. It's very hard to not think about what you might've done, I know. But all you can do is what you said, talk to others about what drugs can do to you and the loss of your friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you and his loved ones.
I'm sorry you were trolled and I hope you don't give up. You're such a wonderful writer and deserve no kind of trolling.
It's good to see you back! I assumed you were writing elsewhere and I read you there. Please tell Jess that she is so in my thoughts and prayers. And when you get to your love, please give her a huge hug from me?
