How very sad. I've heard from someone that there are people lining up boots around the country to give everyone a perspective of just how many have died there. Have you heard about this?

Thanks, Maggie is giving me a hard time today, but I'll get it up at some point. What a sad Memorial Day it is, having our soldiers over there dying as we speak, not to mention all of the Iraqis.
Yes, they should!
I love it! It's a good thought for the Memorial Day weekend.
And a humorous satire it is! I have never read the essay and I'll be looking it up!
You make very good points. "No man can draw the line between neccessities and luxuries. Only angels can do that, and the angels are wise and wistful. Perhaps the angels are our better thoughts in space. ~Kahlil Gibran
I always come back to read what you say and read yours. Yours are not here this time!
never forget our nation was born of revolution affirming the inherent rights of all peoples and that when those rights are denied to one, the rights of all are diminished.. What a great sentence and nice article!!
If you check in, I've emailed you my phone number.
Oh, no, you are playing dirty with this one, lol, but you know I'll ask for your answers too!! 1/ I love lust and passion, but I've only lusted with the ones I'm with. 2/ I was 14 walking to school a ways behind another girl. I found a little wad of money on the sidewalk. It was six dollars. I was so happy to find it because we were hungry and I was going to proudly
Congratulations! I hope you both had a great day!
You are a wonderful writer, this is beautiful. I know that you'll find your chorus.
It is so time for the movie to end. One of my favorite movies is Being There. But in that movie, the slow, but lovable gardener about to become president of our country, was such a child-like, gentle guy. This is a really good article.
I like Bull Durham, too. And isn't it funny how you can know what a person's cliche reponse will be before you ever hear it? I was looking for your article about Spyware and found it for someone. I had no idea that you had this many articles posted because I always keep an eye out for yours. I now have much catching up to do!
I'm so glad you got it back! Don't you love those little glimpses of faith in people you get?
It does make more sense!!
They are adorable!
Jihad Fighter - I am very glad that you posted it here, thank you.
Works perfectly now! And thanks for the link. I might have to reread this book myself.
I wish you the best of luck!!
Terrorism should have a basic, simple meaning. But everything is relative, isn't it? This article is about our government talking of the terror threat and measures taken to prevent attacks at a ceremony. It's about a government that tells it's citizens just how unsafe we are in our home homeland, so much so, that we have to have such intense security at such a ceremony. hmmm, Terror fear. Yep, it's all relative.
What a great quote to pick. Here's to the optimists of the world! joeuser says your link doesn't work, so I'll check back later to see if it's fixed.
Oh thank you! I have been wondering if you were going to be back any. I'll email you.
I must send this on! It's great. What would the world be without humor?
This a wonderful blog. I used to hide behind psychology. I said that love is actually just ways people have of filling up their minds so they don't have to think about what's really bothering them. I, too, was scared to death to be hurt. I'm glad you're taking the chance! I'm glad you've chosen love and life.
