This is wonderful! How I wish people could take themselves more lightly!! My daughter is a great one for reminding me to lighten up. When we're working, she has a different name for each stage of stress I get into. When I hit the Sylvia level, I know I'm in trouble! Thank you so much for the comment you left on my blog. I've been very glad I found yours!

Oh, so good to see your articles again!!! And what a true and good article it is! They all belong to us and we need to let them know it!
There's just something about those Jedi's! I think the universe could use some more.
What a great article! I am unwilling and unable to settle for less, too. There are actually many. And I am optimist enough to think that we can all make a difference.
This is wonderful! And I love your comment about moving pebble by pebble!
I'm glad you had a nice day. My day was nice. We flew kites, had pizza and ice cream cones and I got some lovely presents from my daughter. Thank you for the last comment you left me.
Smiles are one of the best gifts in the world! Nice post.
GemCityJoe-I'm actually not far from you at all. I would say more, but I fear what I might find on my lawn in the morning!!
I'd like to add to Gerry Atrick's comment. I've noticed there are many that read and do not comment. Don't go by comments, even though I know a lot of writer's get discouraged by lack of comments. I have my own little system for supporting articles and writers. There were others that shared my system, but they have chosen to save their energy for another time.

It's great to see an article from you!! I think not listening is becoming more and more of a problem. It doesn't seem to help even if it's print, eh?
Oh, your mother sounds wonderful! And I bet this blog will be one of her favorite presents!
You wrote it beautifully! Sometimes you can feel so overwhelmed by the pain in the world. And as hard as it is to find hope sometimes, I really do have hope. I have so much hope that I am determined to give some of it to others, because I've seen what it can do. I hope that seeing that others written about what you want to write about, doesn't stop you from saying it in your own way. I e
What great ideas! It's always a hard choice, especially considering the environment. Re-using the plastic bags is a great way to recycle though. When I do end up using plastic, I use them for many of the things you listed! When I get paper, I shred them to make my own paper. I love the kite and parachute ideas!!
A very interesting article! I, too, have been wondering about Christians backing this war.
This is a really nice post! I'm sorry it's so late, but Happy Birthday!!
I agree, a very thought provoking article. People tend to think that these sorts of injustices are a thing of the past. Injustice is felt on a daily basis by some. It is more than wonderful to see justice really happen!
Your stories come from a world I understand. I always look forward to more.
Now, hey, you know that I read you, and after all, I am a very good audience!!! I loved your story and want more! Maybe sometime I'll tell you some of the plans my brothers, sister and I had about my dad!!! Do not dismay, Jimbo. Keep on telling your stories here. You are a great writer!
