Dark-Star- Thank you. I was able to get around this morning, but am back to being doubled and can't post. Calico KIttens and Grapevine Wreaths will wait! :)
WiseFawn
After you commented on my blog about cancer, I've been thinking of you and watching for news. I know the waiting for the results will be the hardest and I'll be thinking of you.
The title caught my eye first and this is such a good post! I can just picture it all! When I was in school, I can think of no teacher that would've come up with this! I just love it!
Dynosoar - I suggest you check into the lien part more.
Dynosoar- No convert here, sorry. I just agree with the fact that it is a sysytem designed to keep you in the sysytem. These women are supposed to work all week and still look for a regular job. The government said, get these people working or you lose your funding, so they put them out into jobs, not caring about anything else.
NickyG- I didn't see this post until this morning, when I wanted to see if you were able to post. I saw your comment in the support blog. This is a really good article! If I had seen it, I would've commented here instead of writing. :) Thanks for your comments on my blog. I try to encourage the new ones coming in too. :)
Hi, me again. When I try to get to my blog, it comes up saying can't find wisefawnwisefawn.joeuser.com It has doubled my name. Thank you.
Dynosoar- hmm, perhaps I have misjudged your blog. But it still takes the cake! ;)
I looked up the OAS, but couldn't find the answer. I'm waiting on jeblackstar. Ever so patiently,
You are absolutely right. The Welfare Reform Act, which is costing a lot more money, is supposed to help break these cycles. The states lose their federal funding if they do not comply. The women going into the job market, the daycares. Is it helping? I guess time will tell, eh? Putting these government agencies out of work would create a new unemployment problem, wouldn't it? Good article. :)
Unfairman - yep, I would. I've added it to mine recently because of a book I'm reading about submitting articles to magazines. But that ole Suspeckted can still quote you!
Yes, I've been having difficulty. Yesterday was the worse time. After I clicked on a post comment, every page was unavailable. I closed joeuser and still could not get on. I restarted Maggie, came back and got this message... UNDER CONSTRUCTION t> Response object error 'ASP 0156 : 80004005' Header Error /include/juDatastore.asp, line 827 The HTTP headers are already written to the client browser. Any HTTP header m
Well, this blog takes the cake, I'll give you that. I was not going to comment, but after looking in this morning, I'll not only comment, but I'll be writing about five more blogs, one dedicated to slumlords, one to elder care, and the rest to poverty. You said in your blog.... "We have over 9% unemployment in this area, there is no job out there, yet the men have to stay on the fringe of this culture for the survival of the mothers and childr
Oh, this is a lovely post and you explained so well.
Oh, have I had some bosses I've wanted to do that to!! You're very lucky to have such a relaxed atmosphere to work in.
You just keep getting better each time!
You have such a wonderful way of expressing things! I hope everyone reads this.
BakerStreet -This is interesting reading about liens and such. Link

the truth, dammit
BakerStreet - If being a muckracker is someone who tells than thruth, than muckracker, I'll be. You guys are big on labeling people, aren't you?
OK, you are my favorite blogger, but really, I'm NOT following you. ;) You just keep writing the ones that catch my eye! Commercials drive me crazy, starting with the volume. But I like the funny ones. They still don't make me go out and buy stuff though. I always felt rather inadequate as a mom cause I didn't buy Jiff or have the magic of Clorox. Ever notice how almost all females in the ads that are targeting women wear layered clothing?
"The clouds roar their laughter as their frozen piss blankets the lawn" ;) I like this!!!!
I somehow missed this one. I'm having trouble keeping up with all you! There are such good writers here, isn't there? I love it! It's one of your best!
Well, this title caught my eye! I typed Our Global Neighborhood into google and this is one that came up. http://www.sovereignty.net/p/gov/gganalysis.htm And this certainly stood out to me. "Global governance, according to the report, "does not imply world government or world federalism." Although the difference between "world government" and "global governance" has been compared to the difference between "rape" and "date-rape,"
