You might want to consider resizing your wallpapers to 1024 and 1600. Bootskins can handle 16bits for now, I believe.
Or does everyone likes text? Which skins has the option? I'm currenly using Artmis "ported by Snidely Whiplash". He has a few with the compact menu, but was wondering if there are others.
