Thanks, I'm glad you both liked it. I used to write a lot of poetry when I was younger but I haven't written anything in a while. I actually wrote this at 7 am today before any coffee had kicked in. It took me like 15 min to write it and I have to improve my spacing but I guess feeling tired makes me a little more creative. Suspeckted I wouldn't mind freestylin some time but I got a write a few more to ge

Boredom... My mind wanders easily. I fear losing intellect to gain tranquility. I feel my unrest is an uncertainty. The prospect of the self in my mind has become more defined. I can see myself better but I still feel confined. I still fear even though it is no longer unknown. The depths of myself I have reached but what I find I'm afraid to condone.

Well this was an interesting read. I must admit I agree with you on several points including actually launching a strategy for peace here in the U.S.. I will be waiting for your next article. I am also interested to know where you think we will be 50 years from now.

Thanks for the advice mignuna, I know that it might be the stage I am at now where I have all these ambitions that I want to accomplish. I have much left of life and the course is planned but mostly unknown. For now I will continue on the path I am on although the life you have certainly seems peaceful. Thanks for replying.

Alien I appreciate your response and I am glad it made you think. In order for all us to accept universal moral law we would have to diminish individual ideologies and have common goals, working towards mutual benefit through acceptance of others equality. In an ideal world full of nothing but good intentions we could regard every individual responsible for their own moral decisions. Therein lies the concept of cooperation to treat every individual

Oh I didn't even see these replies until today. Hollywood will produce anything they think will make money. Considering the hit that The Passion was, I'm sure they will release more films that deal with Christianity or any other religion. Music as well will follow suit. Speaking of which, I was listening to the radio and I heard the first mainstream RAP song that was called Jesus Walks that actually gets radio play... I don't know if this is t

I agree with Mignuna and although there have been a couple times that I have argued with you Brad, which I scarcely remember about what, thanks for providing this free service. I am not licking boots here know that, but it is nice to have a place like JU around.

That is the way their society functions, it is ingrained in them to obey dictator types. That is the smartest thing I have heard you say SPM. No offense I agree with it.

I think a lot of Americans are shifting towards having the same feelings you have... Bush has said that he wants to stay even if it means committing more troops. If we leave now I think that will just give the insurgents and terrorists a symbolic victory which could hurt us in the long run. Just a thought.

I think that this administration played into the emotions of Americans when going into the war in the Iraq. The thought of 9/11 fresh in our minds they claimed he had plenty of stockpiles of wmd's which the average joe would only support getting rid of. The average joe in the U.S. was easily swayed at that point.

Thanks for replying, I always appreciate it. Shulamite, I agree with you about editing this article I think I will fix it up to make more sense. When I wrote this article it was just a jumble of thoughts and facts in my head and I couldn't express them very well but I wanted to write them down because it was really deep stuff. I was drained when I was done writing this article. Notice I wrote whew! in the article at one point, it was a doozy. I

Gothic as long as you personally do not attack anyone do not worry about offending anyone by stating your opinions. If they do not like it they can simply not read it.

Good article. If I may share an opinion, it is understandable that ebonics is incorrect English but one cannot really say that any language is pure. Language evolves much like we do and can be seen when looking at dialects. I might speak Spanish to an Argentine colleague who speaks his version of Spanish somewhat different in the form of Castillian Spanish. If for instance I were to dismiss his Spanish as

I wrote an article (just recently before I noticed this one) that would coincide with this one as a reply, I think, either way it was long so rather than reply I will leave a link to the article that I wrote as a reply Link

The value of a human life is difficult to define, in a more simplistic sense it is priceless. No one can truly know the potential contribution an individual may or may not provide for themselves and/or humankind. Without speaking too general, changes can only be made by the individual's will. This brings me to my point about justice. J

At least for the moment I believe your opinion is a good prediction, generally speaking. If we are to overcome discrimination period, we would have to advance the way we think overall, not just the aspect of our appearance. Studies have shown that racial disrimination might have some biological underpinnings which if researched enough could give us a further understanding to exactly why we judge others in a
