This is an avi file that is part of shell32.dll (found in Windows\system32 folder) . Use a program such as ResHacker (available at http://www.angusj.com/resourcehacker/ among other places) to change AVI 150 within that file.
After unloading Windowblinds you need to go to 'My Computer'. Right click and select properties. Select 'Advanced' tab and click 'Settings' in the Performance box. Now in the 'Visual Effects' tab make sure that the last entry, 'Use visual styles on windows and buttons' is checked. Now go and apply the default XP skin.
I realise that things may have to be changed for IE7, for example. Really I was wondering if anyone else had experienced the same problem/phenomena...
Having just installed IE7 Beta3, I find that Windowblinds is no longer changing the animation that is displayed in the download dialogue. All the other replacement dialogue animations are replaced as before. Has anyone else experienced this? I didn't use the first two betas as I found them too buggy so I don't recall if this issue arose with them. Any ideas ? Here's the system info from Windowblinds - although I suspect it's not particularly relevant: WindowBlinds
Alternatively, change the following registry setting to the desired value: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetrics\Shell Small Icon Size
Try using the tweaking software "X-Setup Pro", available at http://www.x-setup.net/downloads/home.asp?lang=EN The required tweak appears under the heading Appearance/Interface/Icons/Icon Size: Small You can make them as large (or small) as you wish for List view.
