Kona see this page at intel - All Core 2 Duo's have the Intel 64 Architecture. Link
Is that true? I have a Core 2 Duo that has 32bit XP and Vista on it. Are you saying I can wipe that and put XP or Vista 64bit on it?
Yes Messiah you can upgrade to a 64 bit OS with the chip you have. One thing is though... OEM boards are usually designed for just a certain amount of memory. As such wi
I do strongly feel that what you can do, you should...and as G-d mentioned, "Do not put Me to the test."
Agreed doc - not testing anyone here... just saying what is on my mind. By the way I have my own battle brewing here again with my wife. They found a mass on her ovary and this is after she just got over cancer here last year with a battle with it for a year. Thus as you say we are doing everything we can do and hoping for the best.
Doc I agree and disagree - not everything is a for sure thing. Only a best or better thing to do to help prevent such from happening. Somethings in life are inevitable and thus in the hands of a higher power.
That home town girl will be missed! Very sad news... Link
I'll wait for the OEM's to be released for builders. I plan to keep my Vista Ultimate... it would be like down grading to go to win7 pro or something like that. I tend to like my Vista a bit. Plus if I use Win7 it will be on a new system I plan on building here once the new boards and chips hit the market. I'm still playing the waiting game so far. Thanks Messiah1
I agree with you Po - but I rarely see any of that for I use the Vista Aero theme with the modifier in Firefox. Thus it is to where I can change mostly all of this in the modifier. Aero theme found here https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4988 Modifier found here https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5992 Here is what m
Lots of new stuff for Firefox coming to light here with this RC3 - give it a try! Been working fine here with 1 and 2 for me. The v3 RC looks even better. Found here http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/3.5/releasenotes/
The only nag I have come about is that no USB connection (memorycard/stick, external HDD) can be 'active' when booting. That prevents Vista, for whatever reasons from booting. Must be a 64 bit thing. Or what?
That could be a bio setting in the boot options there Snowman.
Primary HD...5.9 Base score....5.9 [maybe I need to RAID] ....
No Jafo just get a HD that is going to run the OS at a faster rate. Like maybe a solid state HD

Ah now we are going places... Nice work NT [e digicons]B)[/e]
Ok guys - just to let you know... the program is being worked on and the code does appear to be a bit different. But from what I hear they are using sks6 to build the code. Just like the other times when it was xp to vista and ie6 to ie7 and so forth. Sure I've seen a few bugs as one may call it in the WB7 beta. What else is new ... it is a beta and they are looking to get it right. Lets kind of go back a bit to Vista when it first came out and we wanted it as such. Well I rem
We upgraded to Vista Business asap or that is as soon as it was available. Sure we had our ups and downs with things. But thats been over 2 years now and it works rather well. Oh sure there are those in the company that still use XP Pro. But when you have one of those machine die on you and you want to get a new one... it comes Vista Business. So I do wonder what will be when Win7 finally hits the door. I do hear things... but yet to see anything in writing saying we will be moving on
You mean Verizon since Alltel got bought up by that evil company...
Actually it is still AllTel here where I am at. Least that who is being paid anyway.
So far so good.
Wait for the bill... you never know how it will be. My AT&T phones are always a mess with billing. But they do try to get it straight. Don't get me wrong I like AT&T... which I have two cel-phones with. The third is with AllTel... which is more of a company phone aqnd does pretty good. But they are bad about being inside of such and such places. As for any blackberry phone... Just do not like them much. Seems the calls are

Good schedule for release of Windows 7 and all the best new Stardock programs. Godspeed to all them devs and testers out there. Glad to see things going well and hope for the best with all. Thank you Brad for giving us an idea whats on the drawing board and will be waiting for this good stuff to happen. [e digicons]:star:[/e]
but people must help themselves ...
All in all whoever and whatever be the idea behind whats what. People are people and they do what they want to do. But then again some do as what other people want them to think they are doing and such the like to fame and fortune. Question's are: Do they really know how? or what? Like where is the line drawn in the sand for this type of thing? [e digicons]:star:[/e]
Just get rid of that Win 7 RC and get Vista x64. It would be a step in the right direction - I personally do not like Win 7.[e digicons]O:)[/e]
Maybe a few more blondes would help![e digicons]B)[/e]
More like your [e digicons]1*[/e] Congrats!
Well peoples seems this is a problem. I've never in many years now noticed a screen burn here. Guess maybe I'm missing something. Anyway here is a bit of news for you all. Vista SP2 has gone to auto update. Well I tested it during release stage and had very few problems. Thus here lately I just reinstalled my Vista Ultimate and so forth to take my mind off of everything that was going on here. [Wife was in the hospital again and Win 7 was giving me some probs.] Thus after instal
