Wow looks like some people here are having a goodtime while I was working today. Just got home to see this and like the cow tried to jump over the moon... or did it here? The real thread was about what all the world is about with slang and how we try to use it maybe?

Let's start with the most common verb form of "lead": It's pronounced leed, with a long e, and it means, more or less, "to guide," "to direct," or "to be first." So far so good. Its past tense is "led," pronounced with a short e. So, "lead"=present, "led"=past. Sounds easy, right? The reason this gets confusing is that "lead" can also be a noun. With a long e it means "the person in front" or "leash" or "the first card played" or "the distance a base runner is from the base," as we
Correct - you can try and use the cd iso I sent you to do that.
OK Paul We will see whats what in the long run...
I'm getting closer to a win re-install....there doesn't seem to be any shortcut solutions....
There is no short cut - one: windows can not do it - even though it caused it to begin with. Two: that partition on d drive is not what you think it is... Three: lets get it right the next time!
I had the wild idea of drive-imaging and putting 'c' into what remains of 'd' ...but DI7 isn't compatible with Win7.....and probably wouldn't work anyway...
hold on there is a pm for you with a link for a program that will do that coming your way right now Paul
That sounds like a reinstall to me. Hope we see you in the morning Paul.
Completely!
yrag your gona have to explain whats going on before he will use the reg tool.
You have system restore files and/or shadow copy enabled. Those files will not defrag no matter what you use. Plus with just a defrager it will not build the MFT [master file table]. In short most systems crash due to this problem with most ntfs hard drives. Swapfile and even the hiberfil.sys will usually not be anything to do with most of your performance. Except for the usual settings as with the OS for the proper size of the swapfile and the hiberfile. Most also of the time the swa
turn off the anti-spy program or uninstall it and reinstall OD.
Nothing ever dies for a Member Elite! We have it all and can always get whatever it is there ever was or is. With the new updates that just rolled out Jafo - you should have very little problems with win7 anywhere! Glad to hear things are going well.
Only reason I will not use pidgin is it is a security risk at work and not allowed. Astra is allowed and so is another irc I have for my pda. All others are blocked to include MSN live messenger! I got everything I need with astra - oh ya plus I've gotten a redesign or Modified version for my Iron Key and it works very well even at work in the domain. Usually I so busy it is hard for me to find time to use it for like Stardock irc and as such. But we have our own little group of employees tha
I took an older PC and installed Windows Home Server on it.
Ok now that you have that all in order you still need a virtual system pc which you can use in case you need to click a bad link! So what you got firewall and an anti-virus with anti-spy - too boot the ID protection stuff and all that. Go virtual and use a browser with a proxy server setup in case they try to tie you up at your ISP/IP/DNS with a hijacking system for capturing your IP from your I
What is suprising about the reviews is it would seem the i7 920 is very close in performance but at a quarter of the price. So, if you want to buy an i7, the choice is clear.
Pros and cons there Fuzzy - but I hear of a cheaper priced i7 920 in the making for those LGA1156 socket. Seems though they will be low power and very good for many of the smaller systems. Which I was and/or am hoping for in the X58 le micro board from EVGA. But I'm not getting my hopes up too much
Hehe, when will it ever end?
My thoughts also Starkers...
are you going to replace a $2000+ chip with another one, when the next one comes out?
You just never know?
ASUS MoBo disk keeps saying it's not compatible with the OS....so I've been installing drivers, etc manually.
That will be changing here really fast in the next few weeks I think Paul. Bunch of new drivers are in the making for those asus boards. Specfic win7... Really not much to change to get it to work. Glad you figured your work around.
Imagine getting this Intel Core i7 975 Extreme in a Laptop!!! This thing has to be the Worlds Most Powerful!!
Like wow Joe that laptop does not even come with a OS with the base price of $2275.88 The guys at work got to get one of these things. Thanks for the link gona give that a really good look. Themadmanazn Toms review is going places - but still not everything I'm trying to find yet. Seems what I'm really looking for is being sat on
Just a thought for the time being... if you use sks6 to edit the skin and remove the images by clicking the image name and scrolling all the way to the top and selecting no image defined... then the OS should default those images to original win 7 as with Vista. Ok Mooster resized the post. Pas got to look into that True cooler a bit. But I've got this idea that is hard to get rid of at the moment.
about that V8, is the fan blowing out and the logo so it can be read or did you take it apart and mount the fan to blow the opposite direction? when i bought mine, if i had mounted it so the logo could be read, teh fan was blowing back into the case. i took it apart to turn the fan around plus sleeve the wires. and yeah, it's big bit it looks great and does a superb job of cooling.
Really nice idea Pas - got to try that one. My problem is though all in all "what
