Sounds bad - but as everyone here has mentioned... I do not think it was legal ... maybe? Plus I almost bet he did not throw that pc away. Got to be some records you may have somewhere for serial numbers and such. Think I'd be trying to look into it a bit more somehow or other. Sad to hear the news no matter. Hope something good comes your way.

To even try to comment on this or to fix this problem... 1. I need the skin in question. 2. Some better screenshots of exactly what and where you think the problem is in SKS6. 3. If it is text and working before - in what and where at was it set in the other application settings. Trying to compare settings for sks6 and/or sks5 is ruff business. So would be the conversion of any file made with 5 to 6 for Vista. Seems as has been said in the past when you use sks

I have MP on 3 computers here; 1.Vista/Win7[dual boot], 2. XP pro, and 3. XP; plus I have a Linux laptop which I prefer to leave as it is. So as I do have an extra keyboard via laptop... to use without changing other things I'm doing for Windows. Kind of like it that way in case windows throws me a punch. I just punch the Linux and get answers or whatever I need. The Linux is setup for my file shares also and has access to my Home Server to boot... this makes it even better so if I need to pu

Well it would be nice of them to reward testers for installing and being monitored. They do that with other programs in the works. But it has been a while now since I've actually seen anything with direct rewards. Back when we beta tested Vista there was a reward program and I got a copy of Office 2007 Ultimate edition for free doing that testing. I've been reading that MS is laying off more employees and cutting positions. So it is very unlikely to see much of the rewards programs as

In my point of views the gaming side does not anywhere have as much stuff to post as we do here. So no way to compare bandwidths. Thus it would only seem that time to time there is a wide spectrum of people who visit this site. From one end of the world to the other. Meaning that there is your bandwidth as such. But I'm also fully sure that the people at this site are aware of whats going on. Times are tuff... I'm happy with this site that it is atleast there for us. I would hate to t

Well how about that! I just got on after doing a bunch of website stuff this evening and it sounds rather good their Wizard. I'm glad things worked out for ya. I was a bit worried about that cpu really. Don't much care for em. But no matter - it really sounds like a power surge now more than anything else. So keep that thing going and I'd be think about getting something new maybe in the long run soon. <

OK Red Neck I'm sitting here gripping my chair for some kind of results... Thanks for the info on that rig. So this is a AMD processor? With an ATI graphics card? He acn take the graphics card out and use the on board graphics. Plus it will or should start without any memory in it. Start meaning it will show the HP boot bio screen with options to enter the bio settings. But if that board has a bad cpu or chipset it may not do none of the above. SoI await what Yrag has

Sounds like the bio battery died. With power lights, fans running with HD indicator light blinking even so much so... it seems it will not boot due to no bio being set. Thus I would check the battery and/or try another one. Then check to see if there is power at the four wire connection for the cpu power plug. With other lights showing it kind of says the board is getting power. But then again how much. Be worth a try to have that power supply tested. But I do not think that is at the root of
God this thing is slow.
Really? Wish I could say that about mine.... My xp out runs my win7 on any startup. Only difference is the way I have win 7 configured maybe. Hard to match that with xp. But I don't care how it boots up or shuts down. It's the way it handles and stuff it can do. But it is like a two way street. One does this better and such and such does this like this. So if you think you need another OS to get what you want on the net? Then go for it an
