I said I saw no problems at all. To me that's not a problem. For most people that's not a problem. I don't need to rip someones skin into little bitty pieces to know if I enjoy using it, nor do a large majority of people that buy the skins.
Very well said Phoon. I must agree and I do enjoy this Master Skin completely. Sure there are those little things I correct for any skin on my machine here. Master or not I still go in and make my changes to have it work with my syst
Open any dialog that supports task dialog buttons in Vista , like 'connect to a network'.... both upper and lower buttons are skinned in that dialog Phoon? If so.. please post a screeny.. I'd like to see that. It's a common bug in Vista skins and has nothing to do with 'dpi' settings.. SGT.
Thanks V Styler ... I just wanted to take a better look - I did say maybe it was DPI on his part with some of it. Why do you attack me and now bring to light your thoughts of

As anyone can see for themselves as to opening what has been said to be the images for the wbs in question there is no way anything alike at all as seen here .... I see no problems of any sort with this skin or that of a resemblance to Aero Midnight at all. as seen here also <img

This has a look of some kind of DPI setting you have. Maybe? May I ask what your system specs are and what equipment you are using? Does any other skin do anything simular to this one? Personally those images are not copyrighted or for that matter any different from some others I've seen in other master skins. Anyone can change a color and make something look almost alike to another gradient or the such. I see no rip at all in this skin. Only something with a close resemblence

Brad when you say the general public; does this mean that members might have a different meaning here to this? Personally I'd go for the custom case idea for sure. That or even offering some logo stuff to be placed on whatever. I'd even like to see some stickers for the games we buy. Heck even throw in a poster or something along that line with the game. Makes me wonder now if I can just have some of that made for personal use as such. <img src="http://tech-stop.info/s

Paul you may want to ask that question here and I think you will get a response. Formula 1 Forum There is a F1 Media section that is pretty good and could be the right place to ask. I'm almost sure someone got the whole thing recorded for it was on several live internet tv channels. Hope you find it ! <img src="http://tech-stop.info/sgt.png" alt="" width="169" height=
I have thought a long time about writing this, I am not looking for sympathy with this post, just stating facts, but felt I should let you know why I do not participate on the forums. When I found WinCustomise (2005) I was a lot fitter than I am today & I am so thankful I decided to have a go at skinning, it has now become a big part of my life, I feel I would be climbing the walls by now as my life has become more & more restricted by this illness.
What of my site causes you to question my experience?
Nothing at all - was just wondering what if any why I see this. So now you have explained in a better detail what is happening. But you still have not answered all my questions as to what you are using for graphics and such. I believe this may be the problem. That and along with what are your specs for the computer we are speaking of here. Again I say it is not a Stardock program problem. But don't take me wr

One that is not a Stardock program error. Two it looks like you have corrupted files being used for some other program. I would run a command to try and repair these if it can be repaired. from a command prompt type in sfc scannow and press enter. Or just use the run feature to execute the process...If this shows nothing or it fails to repair - then you have files installed for directx that are not good. Most for sure a c
I could only imagine the designs for the laptop shell, emblazoned with a huge SD logo on the top. Heck even a sticker set to customize current laptops or desktop's would be killer. Something like this where one could choose a custom sticker set to dress up their hardware.
That would be a very good idea there HG. I think about the same way. Presently you can have these made to order for the computer. But it would be nice to see one at the Stardock Store along

Ok it does not work for anyone! So be it... Take it out back and shoot it with a shotgun. Then recover all the pieces. Throw the remaining parts into the trash and be happy. Or if you really like fireworks... get a gallon of gas and pour it over it; then light a match to it! Be happy with whatever the outcome is busted all to hell or just burned to bits. END of STORY - NO more problems... we hope..? <img src="http://tech-stop.info/sgt.pn
We're not going to get into making PCs for the general public.
How about someone in the builder of PC's; that would like to include like Impulse with their OEM software. Which would be installed as a trial with the basic setup. Just as other software is with most other OEM's today. Plus would a builder get anything if the software was bought from the trial install? As for system design - thats depending on what the person reguires or wants in a system. A
I also agree...How about I.D. putting together a photo/video tour of SD? Might be nice to meet the folks that make the software, maintain and develop it and see where they work....hey, lots of businesses do that.
Say Doc I think that is in the works for when Jafo is to visit Stardock here soon. Lots of things change there at the office and I'm always interested in how and whats going on. Always been good stuff I see there and I know there is more to come soon. J
Internally Stardock does have what we call template PCs which we demonstrate to OEMs

I should show you a picture of the PCs
This is very interesting point and really is something I'd like to see there Brad!

Just a little point to be made here with this idea. "Sure there are to be ups and downs to any OEM manufacturer." But what the real question here is ... Would you yourself look at buying such a computer and what is it that you would want in it? Myself and Philly kind of gandered over the idea. With so many possiblities it was hard to figure without some other input. Thus Philly has asked that we suggest to the community whats what to you as such. Granted this is only our idea
That's a shame..... They paid me to make a WindowBlind skin back in 2004 to promote their site. You can see it here: https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=4343&libid=1
Never knew that one was there Boxxi. Would you give me permission to work with this skin and make it Vista ready? I like this design! As for the thread - I believe the File Front has gotten off to a better startup and things are looking good at their site. Maybe a little help

With this board here you could do a fair change out to that model Dell you have. Plus buy a core2 duo processor with a good gt9800 physicalX graphics card and run your game very well. There will be issues of hooking up power and usb plugs for the front panel to this board. But for the price and what you have in mind this a value up grade for that case. XP pro x86 OEM would be good also and you can put 3 gigs of ram easily here. Power supply would have to support one 6 pin graphics card connec
