You know I wish my basement looked that good! I've got to say that the programs I've paid for here at Stardock are the best there is anywhere. Plus they are just plain good people that work there too. If I got a problem it gets fixed. If I want something good for my desktop I always buy it. I'd rather pay for it to keep people like this going. For one good reason "It always does exactly what they say it does and it is the best !" SGT ;)

I agree Mike I use notepad++ for it has a good search feature for finding things quick in the uis or sss files. I only open sks5 when I'm like looking for a certain color for a certain area. With like IE7 there is a place where you can change the color of the hilight for the favorites bar. So I find it in sks5 and get the code editor to show where it is completely with what color I want to use for it and then open the uis file and find the code to be changed. I never save in sks5! Diskeeper Pro Premier 2008 here and I never have to defrag manually at all. It runs in the background while I'm not using the computer automatically. So could never tell just how long it really takes. But it works OK for me. SGT :HOT:

Wow - cool interview! :CONGRAT: there SK - it has been a while since we got to see something good happening around the skinning dept.. That is to say getting those Master Skinners to speak up and be heard. What would be really nice idea would be to get a few of you guys together somehow and get a podcast with all that stuff. With of course some interaction with newbies and members. Just to get a handle on how the real skinners are doing things together and stuff. Maybe even some thoughts o
Not sure that would go over too well with our customer base
You got that right - it will not fly here for sure! I will not buy any of it - no matter who did the art work and how good it is. It never fails there is always something a bit different with each PC and you need to be able to adapt the skin to it for it to be just as I want it. I'm a bit picky - but Stardock - even with my colors has done exactly what I wanted to do. It puts me in control of what
I wonder if other companies, working within the system designed by MS, are "punished" for doing so.
"YES" it all depends on what has been truely done with what. I'm sure MS is looking at this stuff. SGT :)
1) Bluetooth icon that's faded (when off) blue( when on) and blue with some highlight (when connected to a device) 2) Activesync -faded (when off) and green or whatever (when connected / syncing)
Eugene Is this for the tray icon? Mine here works via the tray. This would be dependant on what you want to have it do and I believe whatever icons you are to use would have to be inbeded into a dll file. With of course whatever action it would call for sync or inac

What gets me is why all the fuss over what has yet to be released? All I see is images of what it is and does...
I've seen Jeff (owner of Skins Factory) complaining about being "attacked". I think he has a persecution complex.
Not to say who started all this but... it would seem there was points made about artist. Which have very little to do with what program does what and how. I did not care for this at all and what the hell is that all about? Then there is

I did not come here to fuss over who is doing what and why either. But only to say there is a solution to these problems being worked on at this time for the future. <br/

May I ask a simple couple of questions ? 1. you have a dual boot machine for vista and xp - which OS did you install first? 2. are the two OS's installed on a different hard drive? 3. why is it that these updates are not installed from the past? 4. could you give us a break down of the hardware in use? [ such as computer brand name or board used, hard drives and partition sizes - esp! ] I ask this for getting some better understanding as to the why this has hap
