Sounds like a bad install of the program. Uninstall on both machines - install again doing the slave machine first with no password to be used. It will not matter if you have a windows password or not. Install the master and configure the slave without a password. If it connects and works. Do a restart of both systems and edit the slave first to use a password and then the master. The password does not have to be the same as your windows password being used. SGT ;)

Reply to Logon Studio Editor is messing up the original in LogonStudio Stardock Forums

That is becuase those logons are not made with logon studio and are mainly deited only through the UI and INI files. If you just load the file with logon studio it is fine. But editing will change those files and destroy the logon completely to where it is not able to be repaired. You would need to learn how the UI and INI files are written to edit any such logon. There is NO Program Editor for such! SGT :HOT:

OK IRB then you need to buy Vista and get caught up with the rest of the world. But I still say it is skinned just as much if not more than FF is by any means. Not saying you can't add more stuff to your FF. But it does not compare with the right ways of using the net as with IE or for that matter IE7. Hate to say it IRB - but my XP Pro here with IE7 is skinned using My Colors Theme of "Cosmos". For that matter any skin I want it to be. I've never had a problem with IE7. Now the tabs in IE8 are not skinned. But So far so good with WB on XP. Would you like to see a screenie? As to thread - The only thing I find hard to do with the new Impulse Net is to navigate to places I want to go. Not enough links there for the usual stuff I use in the forums. What name brand of laptop is this [hp,dell or what?] I believe that ati graphics is the problem and it is failing during the screensaver or hibernation mode being used with your laptop. Bad thing about those mobility ATI drivers is they do not support as much as is really needed in Vista. They will run Vista Aero and such.
