Well living in Quebec I can only talk about what happens here..3 years ago here smoking was banned everywhere, not at work, not at restaurants are you allowed to smoke in public. And the results did help among the young. If my statitis are right I believe it was about 28-30% drop in smoking for the young, which is really good.
