Brandie, Happy be-lated Birthday! I thought of you on Saturday, when I phoned my own grandfather. Your description of Pa and "Mrs. Sullivan" made my heart warm. Thank you for sharing your memories. I love ya girl! (By the way, 30 is still a LONG way off!)

"It seems that monumental growth spurts occur only when I’m not focusing on growth." Your ability to drink life amazes me. Thank you for teaching me the value of release.
I think it is interesting how you say that you are content with just existing. What happened to living? Perhaps my wording was not clear enough. In the context of existing as a single person, I am content most of the time . Living my life should be the goal whether I'm in a relationship or unattac
You are exactly where He designed for you to be... at this very moment Oh to truly be grateful for the seasons of our lives . . . Thank you for reminding me of God's favor. <TD class="mb-Body-Quote-Tex
I sat underneath a shade tree today and reflected on my life. The sun warmed my face as I journaled about the events of the last year and pondered the mysteries of all God is teaching me. There were all kinds of people milling about on the musuem lawn. Father's playing frisbee with their sons. Grandparents observing the odd art sculptures. Couples snuggling on benches
Wow Brandie! Sounds like you had a mess on your hands. I remember when Caleb Barnes was small, and he decided to "help mom out" with the dishes. A similar situation unfolded! Hope you are enjoying the holiday break!
This is the best Christmas story ever! Your wit astounds me. Thanks for sharing your holiday memories. I loved the Christmas card! Have a blessed New Year!
Don't let one rough weekend shake your resolve. It sounds to me like you're taking it all in stride and rationally dissecting things. Don't think too much... HC, Thank you for your wise words of encouragement. I don't know you, but I can tell by your advice, you understand my frustration. I ap
I have spent the last few months of my life feeling "normal". I can't quite put my finger on how this all came to pass, but I knew something inside me had shifted. I no longer felt like the desperate, needy Tenille I've always been. I practiced setting boundaries with those I care for, and I worked very hard to stay in the present. I could feel confidence grow
I would like to believe that God had something to do with sending the train. Sometimes the striving causes deafness.
For what it is worth, I am an educator, and the Internet server at my school will not allow any blog sites to penetrate the firewall. Therefore, I must use of my own time to keep up with blogs like the one above. Just out of curiosity. Does your disdain for teachers have anything to do with your choice to homeschool?
Oh God... Ok, here goes: Seven things to do before I die: 1. Meet MY LOVE face to face (I already know who he is). 2. Write something that nobody has ever written. 3. Become the person I pretend to be. 4. Smoke weed and get high....I mean....really high. 5. Feel completely free in my own skin, if only for a moment, in front of others (this is sort of attached to the ganja thing). 6. Learn to belly-da
Thanks guys for taking the time to play! Enjoyed reading your list!
So my friend Bruce tagged me again. I guess this one is a little different. I suppose I could join in on the fun. 1. Seven things to do before I die: Experience the abundant, spirit filled life God promised Have a baby (precursor - marriage of course) Learn how to cook a gourmet meal Get my masters degree Travel to all se
I always enjoy reading your thoughts, Tenille. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Love ya. Brandie, Thanks for your well wishes. I hope your holiday was memorable. Enjoy the Christmas season! P.S. Guess what? I'm dating someone. It's a miracle! <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="
The holiday break has given me extra time to reflect on my current relationship with God. It seems as if I've been plunging through this thing called life full force these last few months, not really pausing long enough to ask the question, "What is God doing in my heart ?" This is unusual for me. Typically, I'm an analyzer. I spend entirely too much time th
This weekend I made a conscious decision to spend the night in a tent with someone of the opposite sex who is not my husband. This choice was not taken lightly, and I considered all possible reperuccusions of my actions. I spent some time wondering what my roomates, friends, and family might think. Good little Christian girl, Tenille, sharing an air ma

Happy Birthday Little Sister. I love you.
Um, I think you should not post using my name because people get confused! Perhaps you should be writing your own blog a boy! (Justin)
