My last son out of 3 boys just went off to kindergarten and his name is Noah too! I now have a son in high school, middle school and elementary. It looks like that will be it for you to next year. Crazy. I had mixed emotions on his first day. He also became a little man seemingly overnight. Time flys by. Most the time I'm o.k. with that. nice blog.' Kelly

tend to think before I speak, and bite my tongue far more often than bite the heads off of others when I'm pissed off. Wow, this is a trait I wish I had. I'm sorry to hear about your pain in the ass neighbor, but luckily, like you said you have the other neighbors that know you pretty well.
I Am happy. I never knew this feeling. But I wanted it so. I read, I saw, But I didn’t understand, At all. That is my favorite part. Beautiful.
chatted for a while this morning, folks. She'll be back, drmiler's apology was accepted, and she just needs to regroup for a bit. Thank goodness. This place just wouldnt be the same without her. I'm glad to hear that.
Glad to hear you are o.k and prevailed!
2000 oops... I guess my memory isn't that great!
I can tell you the first "adult" movies I saw as a girl. The first one I remember was "Death Race 5000" I saw it at the drive in with my parents. I don't know why I was taken to see that movie. Not really kidstuff, but it was sort of funny. The second movie I remember is "Earthquake". They had the theater all rigged up so when there was an earthquake it would start shaking. Very cool back then. <BR
Your Birthdate: October 28 Your birth on the 28th day of the month (1 energy) adds a tone of independence and extra energy to your Life Path. The number 1 energy suggest more executive ability and leadership qualities than you path may have indicated. A birthday on the 28th of any month gives greater will power and self-confidence, and very often a rather original approach. Unlike much of the other 1 energy, this birthday is one
it ain't my circus, and it never has been. Excellent line. Writing is the best therapy sometimes. P.S. for what it's worth I believe you are a great mom. That is what I get from your writings.
great pictures as always , Jamie. I am jealous. I have always wanted to see the Mall of America. Do you live close by? Happy School days.
I'm pretty sure "karaoke" means " revenge for Hiroshima" in Japanese. That is the funniest line I have read in a long time.
Did your sons draw that picture?! That is pretty good, but I don't know who the leader is. Farting is the universal family-bringer-together in a houseful of boys. It is stinky, but funny!
That is sad, but like trudy said, probably a wise choice. Hopefully he will find another loving family. Sorry for your sadness.
Hey there Flooz, I came here via shovelheat's blog. Firstly I am terrified that it is all crap and I am embarrassed to show it to someone, anyone, in case I am exposed as the literary fraud that I feel. That is how I feel sometimes when I write my "trailerpark stories" which are few are far bet
A good parent is good regardless of their situation. They're good because they MAKE SURE they do the right thing no matter what it means for them personally. It's too easy now for bad parents to pass the buck completely, so now they can say if their kids don't turn out right, that the schools failed them, not the parent. That remark earns you an
At least you are not yelling, "Close the door we aren't cooling/heating the whole neighborhood!". It is wonderful that you can see the full circle between mother and daughter. I think all young girls have that attitude that they are not going to become their mother and as you said, in the end you want to be more like your mother. nice read.
Maybe she is just a mean person. Pretty or ugly.
Everyone seems to jump straight to the single mother who has to work 3 jobs just to pay the rent, utilities.. etc. Wouldn't it be great if all we had to focus on were the kids whose parents fit that description? and the working mother single or not. I don't think this was an article aimed at working mom
("Hell" was my favorite reality show to come around in years. I may have even preferred that to American Idol.) Mine too!
Your link does not go through. However, I can always joyfully say,"Hail to the penis!"
Hi Jamie..... I love the titles of your blog..but I gotta say canned curry? Are you watching, "So you think you can dance?"? KellyW.
Can you believe I made a "hawaiian" quiche for a lady at $21.00 a pop. Sooooo gross. It had big chunks of ham, big chunks of pineapple and eggs and heavy cream baked in a pie crust. Big fat yuck, but hey, if you order it, I will make it.
@MM that was good.
In a past relationship the last name was Rice. We always kidded around saying we would name our kids: yellow, wild, uncle Ben, brown..I know, I know lame..but at the time it was funny. Mymom said she went to school with a Mary Christmas, but I don't know if I believe it.
