Someone HELP! I have been a Object Desktop Ultimate subscriber for many years. I received the email about the free MyColors theme that was available for subscibers "Encounter". I went to Impulse, Desktop and it wasn't listed. I followed all of the directions listed by SeaBass and to no avail. It is not even listed in the Store-Desktops section to even register it. I went to Wincustomize and checked the settings for my registered products and all of my MyColors products h

I believe the date was around June, 2004. I came across WindowBlinds on some site...don't remember which one and thought I would try it out. I was tired of the same old Windows boring skins and wanted something with a little more kick to it. Voila, WindowBlinds was the answer. I joined Wincustomize and have enjoyed the best skinning site on the Web. Although I don't have the talent to make skins, I marvel at the talent that is displayed here at Wincustomize. There is a skin for every taste tha
I'm all for a sponsorship of the site as long as all of the sponsors are placed in the sidebar and nowhere else on the site. Even if many of them were placed in all areas of the site, on every page, they should all be in the sidebar and nowhere else! As a paying subsciber, I would be offended if they were placed any where else on the pages. Bottom line......Great Idea!
I've been a Firefox user for years and love it. IE7 is too heavy on the system resources just like Norton.Firefox is quick and light.
Thanks Zubaz. I switched to US2 server and downloads were very fast Doodlebop
I recently updated WB5 and it took 35 minutes to download the 6.2 MB files. I have broadband (1MB/sec download and 300KB/sec upload speed) and I felt like I was back on dial-up. Are there server problems that have suddenly developed. I have not had this problem in the past. Another issue I have is when I download an update to WB,why are there several skins included in the download? I end up deleting these skins as I along with
I've been using CCleaner for months and it's one of the best I have used. Keeps the old system humming.
I have been using IE7 beta3 for about a week now and finally had to delete it. MS went overboard with the security thing. It's too heavy on the system. With all of the security gizmos built in,surfing is a lot slower than with Firefox. Pages take longer to load and downloads take longer to start up.I got broadband to surf faster not slower. Microsoft is going the way of Norton by taxing the system too much. All you need is a good antivirus an
I had a similar problem with a few programs with the windows a little jerky. I'm running a HP 2.53 Ghz with 1G ram and Intel 845G/GE graphics. I installed 512MB ram to make 1G and updated the Intel driver and have had no problem since. I'm running WB 5 and everything is working great. Try adding some ram and update the driver.I got my updated driver from Microsoft Updates. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Wink.gif" bo
