This can be done by using ThemeManager to apply alternative wallpapers, icons and cursors, ect, to the existing WB or whatever you choose to retain. I'm working on an Album Art widget/gadget. The plan is to have it popup on a track change and auto fetch the album cover from the internet and cache the image for later use. Baring any unforeseen problems an initial version should be ready by this weekend. Sounds great. I'd definitely check that one

It's nothing new. I have one for the Yes album, The Ladder , that came out a few years ago, only it's not a widget. It's a regular program. More like a gadget, I guess.

In the advanced config, go to Basic Settings and unselect Apply the skins colour scheme . Note that that can have some pretty odd looking results, depending on your default color scheme and the skin being used.

Windows only allows for one color scheme at once, so your main skin will determine what colors your system uses. That is, unless you configure WB not to change your system colors.
