Support for Firefox appears to be getting worse. And in IE I appear to be unable simply to paste text into the text field. Instead a small window comes up and claims that I am pasting from Word (which I am not). Can somebody please fix this (or revert to last year's JU)?

The Egyptian army won't allow a closure of the canal. As for the warships, anyone can pass through the canal. I wonder what the warships want. I haven't heard anything except what Arutz Sheva (Israel National News) have reported. I have read western news reports about Egypt and noticed the lack of similar reports about Iran. The media have chosen sides again, as did our politicians who called on Mubarak to step down but won't openly point out the complete illegitimacy of the Iranian regime. I can think of several examples of American imperialism but all of them were in the late 19th century.
I think it is reasonable to assume that it doesn't. Government certainly has the legitimate power to outlaw dangerous items, except in as much as the Bill of Rights limits government's power to do so. Weapons needed for a militia are allowed. That's what the 2nd amendment says.
If I again may make myself heard. Looking in from the outside, not being an American, the 2nd amendment looks to me, with its mention of the reason given as a militia, specifically to ALLOW all weapons typically required for a militia (i.e. sticks and hand guns) while not specifically stopping government from outlawing or severely controlling all other types of weapons (i.e. tanks and fighter aircraft). To me it appears obvious that the 2nd amendment guarantees a right to own
