I don't care if Abbas really wants peace or not. If he withdraws from the talks, Israel has her propaganda victory that will keep Israel's friends on her side. But Abbas needs the talks to stay in power. He relies on Israeli power and international money to keep his "Palestinian Authority" running. If he withdraws from talks, he won't be useful any more and then nobody will have an interest in keeping him in power. The PA will fall apart and Hamas will try to take over the West-Bank.
