Fixed internally, thanks guys!

Some of those buildings are sovereign specific. We're going through some of the improvement descriptions to make that more obvious :)
I'm seeing 'Winter Wind' work properly when... - Drogon is in an army - Drogon is NOT in an army The spell fails when... - Drogon is stationed in a city - Drogon is in a ship (takes the ship with him) We've added the bottom two items to our bug list. Thanks!
It would be nice if the sovereign could cast magic in their own "turn", rather than having to take the combat turn of one of your units.
We're hoping to get this in for 1.1 :)
Will investigate Monday - thanks for the heads up!
When the 'Recruit Hero' sovereign was added (about a month ago) we dropped the number of Hero Statues in the world. I'll have to check the code, but even the Arena map sizes should have 1 statue in them. If you have a game where you just can't find the other hero, please send the save file to and I'll look it over in the debugger - see where those shy heroes are hiding :)
Very strange...but glad that the reinstall helped :) (and sorry your thread got buried...very busy couple of days over here) :(
Well I equipped it and it gave me 1400 defense. No that's not a typo and likely a bug. It should have given me maybe 12-15 I think.
Haha One of the first things we fixed for the new patch - enjoy that cheese while it lasts ;)
1.0 was great fun and I look forward to the game growing and become stellar when it is already very good.
Thank YOU for sticking with us through the Alpha phase and giving great fe
Yeah, and let us know what you think! We're planning our update schedule, so the more feedback we get, the better we can make the game (and the AI...enjoy your exploits while you can) ;)
Wow...enjoy that one ;) Will be fixed for the next update.
And with less than 3 days 'till gold THE FOW BUG HAS BEEN FIXED!!! Thanks to everyone who submitted reports. Most people were playing as Guardian, so it led QA to dive into her skill tree, and sure enough 'Nature's Vision' had some ninja-code that was raising all outposts Sight by +2 per turn. It wasn't, however, updating the FOW gfx, so you'd only see the effect when reloading. Very glad to get that into the next build :) Thanks again for a
Not fixing bugs because you're worried about introducing bugs sounds silly to me, with all due respect.
It SOUNDS silly, but I assure you it's a industry-wide practice. Game code is so interconnected that it's very common for one bug fix to cause multiple other issues to surface. At this point, we'll go with random kill animations playing early (an annoying blip to a reviewer) than risk
FOW bug is #1 on our priority list...it's been a tough nut to crack, so any saved games you guys can send over would be great! Several of those other bugs actually have fixes, but we've decided they're too risky to put in for 1.0 :( that's the most frustrating part of getting close to the release version...only showstoppers get past the 'could cause more bugs than it solves' filter.
Thanks man :) While I wish most people an eventful holiday, I actually hope yours is as low-key as possible ;)
Well, I sure hate the bug that makes me unable to End turn or open the menu.
Fixed :) It was a quest issue with battles...turning off 'Always Auto-Resolve Overwhelming Victories' should fix that for 5.4. Most of the rough balance introduced in 5.4 has been resolved, and the major bugs are in our cross-hairs. We're also looking into Sovereign Casts not taking the unit turn...may be too
This has been happening over here too - One of our top priority bugs.
Yeah, I fear this update was a 'too many cook in the kitchen' situation :( Lots of us making lots of different changes resulted in some over-compensation. We're actually rolling back the weapon tweaks, and putting in some code to tone down those mobs you're seeing everywhere. And I'm looking into the scout issue as we speak (Edit: Fixed the Scout Bug!) Tons of stuff going on over here - we'll keep you guys posted as changes are m
Looking at the data, you should be getting hooked up by that quest (Plate armor, fame, etc). Or are you talking about after the battle? The battle could have dropped just a pelt...but the Quest Reward screen should have given you multiple good items (along with one pelt).
I'll ask around and see if we've done any Large Map, Min Spec testing and see what the QA guys say. They're swimming in test boxes, so I'm sure one of them is close to yours.
No idea what's going on there....very odd. If you can send a save game our way, we'll do some digging in the debugger.
Playing v5.4? What map size / difficulty were you on? We're in the thick of pacing and balancing, so any details you can give are much appreciated!
if (IsPlayer( "TheCW" ) == TRUE) { g_pWorld->ScrewThatGuy( bOhYeah ); } ;)<br
Not a bug...most of the cit enchantments can now stack. Play with it, try to exploit it, and let's see if the effects need tweaked.
Paladins just got a big stat boost yesterday...they'll feel better in 5.4.
I've seen you talk about nerfing heroes a bit and perhaps making some of the higher-tier enemies a bit stronger, but what else do you think it needs?
I'm going to go the 'side-stepping bastard' route with this response - That sounds like a good question for tomorrows Stream!
