thanks everyone for the words. His family is aware of the things you guys have said here. And my wife said alot of teachers were googling him and finding my "blog" here on some "Wincustomize" site... and the people there had alot of nice words for Chris and his family. Also, wanted to mention that the Cincinnati Bengals (specifically Chad Ochocinco) dedicated their game today to Chris' memory through Twitter. They beat the in-state rival Clevelan

Well my wife just got a call about an hour ago... Chris has died. He was a great kid, and his passing will be felt deep in our local community. Please pray for his parents...

Some news... unfortunately, it's not good news. They tested his brain activity this morning, and got zero response. They are flushing his body with fluids to remove all medications from his system, and they are going to test his brain activity again. But right now it seems he is brain dead. He will need a miracle.

Our local news just did a small story on him. The only update on his condition is that he is in critical condition, and in a coma, which I assume he was already, so not much has changed. As far as what happened, things are a bit more clear. Chris and 2 of his friends were walking home from picking up a pizza late Saturday night when a car full of guys leaving a club nearly hit them as it pulled out of the parking lot. Chris or one of his friends said somethin

Here is a small update. Today at the hospital his mother said she felt like he was slipping away, but he continues to hang on. Below is a link to our local newspaper article of the incident if anyone wants to read it... http://www.daytondailynews.com/news/crime/unprovoked-beating-leaves-star-athlete-critically-hurt-police-say-406812.html

Hey WC community... I know this is a great place to get people together praying for someone, so I have a request. My wife is a teacher, and one of her former students was attacked and beaten while walking home from picking up a pizza. He is in ICU with head trauma, and swelling/bleeding on the brain. He is in very critical condition. His name is Chris Kernich, he's 23 years old and was one of my wife's favorite students ever. A really great kid. I can't ima

No need to make one on my account... I just thought maybe someone had one or knew of one out there. I just can't find any, which surprised me...

While it's difficult for you and your family, just remember that she is in a better place. Grieve as you should, but celebrate her life... God bless.

ok, not sure if this has been posted or not... so much to sift through. Anyway, When I have one of the Aero textured skins applied (Aero metals in the screenshot) the Aero Peek feature of Windows 7 doesn't make the window transparent, instead it makes it a box of the texture used... like so... http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh28/richieguere/AeroPeekBug.jpg

I never understand why people will complain about a master skin not being good enough. If you don't like the skin, then why do you care if it's free or not? Obviously anyone who shells out the cash is happy with the skin, so good for them. If you don't like it, why would you want it even if it's free? Just let it be. I personally don't like it, but who cares? I won't buy it. But I'm not going to bitch about it costing money because honestly I wouldn't
