My dad used to carry a man purse. He found it more comfortable to sit in his wheelchair and rascal without all kinds of stuff in his pockets, and having his necessities in a bag that he could sling over his shoulder more accessible. I wonder if mum still has that.....I think I'd like to have it if she does....

http://www.newsmax.com/archives/ic/2006/10/12/162815.shtml Cindy Sheehan has decided to tell everyone that she's a finalist for the Nobel Peace Prize. However, she's the only one to call herself such; nobody knows for sure who the finalists are because there hasn't been a release of any names. If all you have to do to get to be a finalist is camp out where you're not wanted, then I'm pitching my

Yep, looks like a sicko to me too. He must think that he's got us all fooled with his 'embarised' story. Either that or he's got a pair of brass balls, coming to a public place like that to request spank-fodder.

I'm not going to say where I found this ad at; I just want you to read it. It's titled 'for a man who has got too damb skinny', and it's as I found it, spelling mistakes and all. I am slightly embarised to say this but I've allways been pretty skinny. Well here lately I have been commuting back and forth from college on a bike. Well I did have a mens small size waist and now I find I have the waist size of 10-12 year old boy, according to underwear sizes. Well its

I'd denifetely classify your stuff as art....you know how much I loved Maddy's beanie..... Thank you! And yes, I DO know how much you loved it, but I think that's because you're an artist too (scrapbooking) - you have an appreciation for things that people make with their own hands. The other baby beanie is on the needl

I am sorry Don't be. It's all good.....I can understand why you wouldn't want to talk to him. Last year I went through a pretty major depression - I had just had a spinal fusion surgery done but it had failed and I was still in pain, my husband was gone, I was alone with 3 kids and things just piled up and overwhelmed me. but she wants to have the excitement of new relationships I don't usually like Dr Phil, but he said something really hit home with me...and I think you'll be able to identify with it too. He said (and I'm paraphrasing here): 'If we put as much effort into our marriage as we do when we dream, think about, scheme and pursue an affair, we

I believe that the shooter was also wearing pants. They didn't ban those as well? That'll be next. Seriously, it wouldn't surprise me if they banned those too. They've got so many bans on clothing items it's ridiculous. The kids can't wear anything with skull and crossbones on it because the administration say it's a gan

In order to take your computer they'd have to have a search warrant, and they can't get one of those until they have enough evidence to satisfy a judge that a serious crime has been committed by you and you used your computer in the commission of said crime. She'd have to file a restraining order first. You'd be notified if she'd done that.

Honey, it takes time to get over things like this. You've had the rug pulled out from under you; everything has changed for you and it's going to take some time to get used to it. You're literally grieving, and there are stages that you'll work through. The sadness that you feel is perfectly normal, as is feeling like you don't want to move on; you just want your old life back. It's okay to feel like that.....you just have to give yourself permission to feel that way

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,219398,00.html The repercussions of the school shooting in Joplin, Missouri, have reached sleepy little Mascoutah in Illinois - where 2 out of my three kids attend school. The superintendent has decided to enforce a new rule to hopefully avoid a similar crime happeneing here. Have they put metal detectors at the entrances? No. Are th

Glad you are teaching Greasy, errr I mean Gracie your tricks I am, but she's got a few of her own. She helps me chase the cat, you know. I only gots little legs and I can't get to high places, but Greasy can reach up realy high so she can get to that cat when she jumps up on the table and the computer desk and on the window sills.&

A lot has happened since I last wrote. First of all, my momma and The Big Guy got another dawg. They call her a boxer, but I've never seen her get into boxes like that cat does, so I really don't know why she's called that. I still hate that cat. But whatever. This new dawg is called Greasy....no, that's not right. Gracie. That's it. Gracie. She looks like her mother dropped her on her face because her nose is all smushed up and it causes

I have nothing to do tomorrow, I think I'll make a sign. Me too. I think that it'd be a lot of fun to go stand at LaClede's Landing (under the Arch) and give out free hugs. I wonder if I can find anyone else to go with me....?

I'll bet it feels good to say all that, huh? You did good, kid. Now she knows how you feel.....and perhaps she'll take your feelings into consideration before she does anything else. Namaste.....

I talked to her today, and I got most of the things off my chest. She probably hates me more now, but at least if she has some time to think about it, she will realize how she has been acting. And at least you got the opportunity to say what you needed to say. Perhaps now she'll take your feelings into account when she's making decisions

When my husband and I first got married, we were broke. We stayed that way until our youngest (we have 3, our eldest turns 14 next week and we have a 12 year old and a 10 year old too) went to kindergarden. I felt like I didn't have kids to have a sitter raise them whilst I was at work, so I stayed home. I did try and work once or twice when they were smaller, but ended up paying over half of my paycheck to daycare so we decided it wasn't worth it. Money was REALLY tig

. Beyond that I just don't understand why she did it, her reasons are so insignificant and easy to fix, I don't understand why she had to take such a drastic measure. The thing you've got to keep in mind here, honey, is that some women can be fickle and seemingly incomprehensible things. What may seem like a straighforward issue to you and I mi

That's a very odd name for a scarf/knitting pattern. I think it has something to do with the pattern, the way it looks like a celtic unending knot. It IS an odd name, though, you're right. The scarf

While the violent Christian extremist is rare, they do exist. Abortion clinic bombers come to mind. That's what I was going to say. They DO exist, Gid, whether you've met one or not. They may not be AS extreme as Muslims who blow themselves up and take 50 other people with them, but they ARE around.

I can understand hating and loving someone at the same time. I've felt that way a few times in my life, and I know how confusing and generally sucky feeling like that can be. What I don't understand, though, is why you'd want to torture yourself the way you are. If you know that you still love her but that she doesn't love you, why are you continuing to see her? Do you think that being with her is better than being alone? (been there, done that too)

*I always feel bad about listing my projects under the 'art' category, mainly because I don't consider them art. However....I think that I should give myself a little more credit and understand that just as I cannot paint a picture to rival the Mona Lisa, so others cannot knit a stitch if their life depended on it. So, I'm going to try and not feel so bad about listing under the 'art' category* Ok, now that's out of the way, I can get down to business. These are th
