Here's some words I like.... Knowing other people is intelligence knowing yourself is wisdom. Overcoming others takes strength overcoming yourself takes greatness. Contentment is wealth. (Lao Tzu, 'Tao Te Ching', ch.33)) What seeks to shrink must first have grown; what seeks weakness surely was strong. What seeks it's ruin must first have risen; what seeks to take must surely have given.

You know, you have quite a dark side to you...as do I. I like it. I like the pics you post. I particularly liked #9.....very atmospheric. I could almost see someone clad in a gown that gaped at the back, crouching in the corner behind the door. Very nice....
It was sunny, but we have a storm coming in and now it's overcast and windy. "Unsettled emotionally"...yeah, that's exactly as I would have described myself earlier. I had (have still, a little) all this nervous energy, and I don't know why. Damp does that to you too, huh? It always makes my knee ache.
I'm not the only one who feels this way, apparently. My daughter is complaining of the same thing. So, we're having the yard sale tomorrow instead, while we're still motivated to get stuff done. I'm afraid that if I wait a week I won't feel like it anymore, and will get caught up in the frustraion/flurry of activity/let down cycle..and then nothing will ever get done. I'm striking whilst the iron's got, so to speak.
Reply #22 By: Janders - 3/26/2004 3:45:33 PM Mr Right. Thanks, I love you! Awww...that's so sweet!!
The motion to delete gets an 'aye' from me...
I don't really remember my first kiss either. I do however, remember my first kiss with Dave.... ..he had gone to Italy for a deployment, and I had called him right after he got back. Up until that point we had just been friends, and I thought that was pretty much how it was going to stay. We talked for over an hour on the phone that day, and I had invited him over to my house to hang out the next time he was off work. He showed up
the way to keep from being down in the dumps.... is not to live in one See, that's what I was talking about. The main source of my frustration today is the clutter...but I'm getting there. I cleared out the kitchen cabinets already, now I'm on to the bed and bathrooms..
Yay for you!!!! Isn't it nice to feel necessary like that?
Awww....you guys are sooo sweet! Thank you so much, I needed that........ {{{{{{{{{{{MJ}}}}}}}}}} {{{{{{{{{Dan}}}}}}}}} right back at ya, babes....
Having taken a moment of self reflection, I think I know what the problem is. I'm cluttered. Not emotionally per se, but physically. I have waaaaay too much stuff. I looked around the house as I was on my way to clean the tub, and it came to me: I have junk, junk, and more junk laying around, and that's what's pissing me off. I can't stand clutter, I really, really can't. I like simplicity, I like neatness...but from looking at my hous
As another Brit, I agree with the English Men one too...but you forgot that a lot of British men wear socks with their sandals and shorts (as do some Aussies). Hmmmm, I wonder if Muggaz does that?!
I'm having a bad day today. I'm just in a crappy mood. Nothing fits right, and everything is pissing me off or making me blue. I looked at my monroe this morning and thought that maybe I don't like it as much as I thought I would...got to second guessing myself that maybe I'm too old for it, maybe my kids were right, perhaps I should be more mainstream. I'
Exactly. Had he had any other reaction than the one he displayed, I'd have been concerned. The thing that got them was that people were "giving themselves shots" (their words). They couldn't understand why anyone would want to do that to themselves. Anyhoo, it was a good lesson.
I was thinking about the same thing the other day. I was wondering if I'd have given anyone I met here the time of day had I met them on the street or at work. If I had met anyone in 'real time', who would I have connected with the most, and why? As much as I don't like to admit it, I tend to stereotype people accoprding to their appearance and behaviour - something I'm trying not to do anymore, but a habit I'm finding hard to break.
Bit of both, Poet. I don't work so hard, I stay home with the kids, and as much as possible, I do enjoy life. I'm not interested in beoming wealthy, I'm more interested in being content....and I dont think that being wealthy will bring contentment, I think it just brings it's own set of problems. hey, check out my monroe (madonna).....
She's 11 1/2, and my boys are 9 and 7. The 9 y/o came and looked too....was quite disgusted with what he saw.
Yes, I can imagine what the results would be if you got pierced...too risky, especially on your face.
Well, I've had to come in contact with it professionally....I've never used, and I never intend to...and you're right, that link will certainly keep it that way. Actually, it was kind of educational...my daughter came in whilst I was looking at #10 and asked what was wrong with her...I thought she was old enough to be able to deal with some of it, so I told her that this was the real face of heroin abuse, this is what dope will do to you. She wasn
Umm...did you ever think that you might be trying to project events in your game life into your real life? Just because your characters are going out, engaged, etc in your game doesn't mean that has to happen in this life too, but I think I see a trend here. As I recall there was another girl who you gamed with, and the sort of the same thing happened there too...unless this is the same girl you're talking about.
Shea is like me, but not just like me...she has longer blonder hair, and mine (as you saw) is short and dark. She adopted Buddhism, and is fierce about her choice (hmm, wonder where she gets that from??!!) and is pretty independant about her decisions. She has 2 earrings in each ear...and wants more. She particularly wants her cartilage pierced, and after my latest piercing it's only going to be a matter of time before I have to agree to let her get
I know!! What's up with that?! I thought that when I grew up and moved away from home I'd be able to do what I wanted without much hassle from anyone else...and I now find that my kids think they can tell me what to do and when to do it!
Next week, when it's started to heal properly. Haha! Really, Trinitie? What DID you think I'd look like? :)
..and the VCR, DVD and CD players......
My lip's hardly swollen at all, so I thought I'd show y'all what it looks like... Link ..and it doesn't really hurt much, either.
