I'm with Dynosoar. I'm not in this for points (although I do look to see where I'm at). I'm in this because it gives me the opportunity to write, self-analyze and generally spout off my opinions. If people want to respond, fine. If they don't, that's fine too. I have noticed that the articles that get the most attention are usually politically motivated, full of mis-information, or contain statements that are so inflamatory or contraversial

..I have roosters in my kitchen and frogs in my bathroom (decorations, we're in base housing and we're not allowed the real thing) ..I have a 'thing' for shoes...just can't seem to get enough of them, especially ones with pointy toes and stiletto heels. ..I hate, hate, hate, driving in the snow and am sometimes reduced to tears at the prospect of having to do it. ..I'm not athletic at all. ..but I practice

Well, MJ, did you date or marry I geek? I did. I also, because I married a geek, ended up watching Star Trek ...so scored high there. I also wasn't exactly a 'cool' teenager, so i scored points there too, and I read a lot and played D&D for a bit, which gained me extra points....as did being a girl (5 extra ones there) and knowing things that made me geeky but weren't included on the test (I forget how many there were). I'm just geeky; and I

You have my email addy...in case you lost it, it's: [email protected] . USE IT!!!! Write to me! I know so totally what you're going through. Dave used to be the same way...just plain mean and spiteful about things (it wasn't just that, there was a lot more involved but out of respect for our relationship I'm not going to go into it here). Because of what he does (he's a cop) he had the opportunity to attend a conference about domestic

Sir, What joy!! I am overwhelmed with happiness and pride! Sir, I am sorry to have to tell you that I believe my mother is deceased. I have searched for many years for her and have had no luck in finding her. I know that her pregnancy with me was a difficult one, and it was because of her uncertainity for my future and her not wanting to tarnish your family's great and wonderful name that she chose to have me adopted. I grew up

I know what you mean about the weather...I'm in SD (as you know) and everyone gets petty and pissy when the sun don't show her face for a few days..or when it snows endlessly, like it did last weekend. As far as inbreeding...I've lived in some southern states among some real rednecks and always thought that inbreeding was a myth, an urban legend.....until I came to The Black Hills of South Dakota. I've seen more inbreeding here than ANYONE sh

Sir, I can assure you I have no aspirations of claiming any of your fortune, and will sign whatever document you require me to sign to ascertain that I am not doing this for financial gain. I merely wish to discover the truth about my heritage. The only thing I can tell you about my mother is that she had fair hair, blue eyes and had a mole at the top of her inner right thigh. I have the same mole. I also have a rather distinctive crown-shap

I don't have many details, I'm afraid. All I know is that my biological mother was employed by the Maxwell family directly before she became pregnant with me, and had to leave quietly under some, shall we say, somewhat scandalous circumstances. She never would reveal the details of who my father might be, saying only that to do so could cause great embarrasment and shame to be brought upon his family and himself, and she didn't want to that because s

I went up Snowdon when I was a kid. We went on holiday to Phwelli and took a day trip to see the mountain. When we got to the top all we could see was fog and that one, solitary rock that marks the summit. We took the liitle train down, and I remember there being joggers walking down the mountain that were going faster than the train we were on! Jepel, je parle le francais aussi. J'habite a Marseilles et Aix En Provence pour 6 mois......</

Ok... I'm a girlie girl rarely. I like to blend being a semi-girlie girl (wearing make up, dressing up) with being one of the dudes. I have more guy friends than I do girl friends, and I don't know why. If I could excell at one area it would be writing. I speak English, French, and a little German... If I could spend the rent on something other than rent it would have to be clothes and shoes. I don't know why, I have too many alrea

tarsier: no, I worked sec. enforcement, but we had some of the powers sworn officers had. I apprehended people, worked patrol, interviewed and took statements, searched buildings, carried a gun, worked with the local PD etc etc. As far as your question about speeding: it all depends on the oficer involved, the time of day, location, your driving skills at the time, etc, etc. There's a lot of variables. However, every officer I've e

Actually, he would have been 12, going on 13, and in England it's pretty common to lose your cherry around then. urban faery: I don't want your pity, or anyone elses. I think that everyone around here has lost their sense of humor......
