I had one go on a rampage starting at the origin point for my trade routes. Then again, I also drew one off to hit somebody else ... and then there was the time they broke loose from somebody else's zoo.
Another bug to do with freighters ... I have one route locked up (mini-freighter isn't moving) and when I click on it, it seems to think it's going to the destination of one of my OTHER trade routes! Note that this happened after the destruction of a trade route (by Space Shark sitting at the originating world) which was, I think, in the #1 slot ... and I have a savegame from quite a while later.

I was just looking down the list, and didn't really see any discussion of starting choices or how to use them effectively ... thus this post. Myself, I like additional PQ and speed, but then, I haven't played much, so it's not really a firm thing...
Just to put this in the right place (and no, I can't check the spreadsheet ... I tried and got garbage), I couldn't submit to the Metaverse on my ADSL connection, the submit screen never showed up. It did, however, work under dialup with all other conditions the same (firewall included, indeed, I forgot about it and was auto-prompted...)
Like I edited the message to read, I submitted under dial-up. It was a workaround, you would think it would submit using an active DSL connection, but it didn't...
Whenever I finish a game (not that I've finished many, just one repeated several times to try to get it to work), I can't seem to submit the scores to the Metaverse. Last time, I specifically set my firewall to allow all and my ADSL was up. Any ideas? Edit: had a thought from reading other posts, tried connecting under DIAL-UP, not ADSL ... and the submit screen showed up! Good thing I have a modem and a few hours as a backup... [Message Edited]
