The problem with people is that they lack the ability to laugh at themeselves.
I can understand, when companies dpend such a lot on developing the software, they expect returns. But maybe a small demo with a time limit and limited capabilities (like no ability to save perhaps) wouldn't hurt. I am all for them making profits but if after buying the software one feels that if the software was a rip off, what good will it do to the company's reputation?

I never meant this thread to hurt people's beliefs or their convictions, even the reference to me being a Hindu was done to set a backdrop to the question I asked. I asked this question because I thought that maybe people who are into art would have dreams and aspirations that may not be possible to fulfil as humans, but I didn't anticipate this kind of response. Have u downloaded the correct version? Its a self extracting .exe file. It should install man. I have recently (just a week ago) installed the newest version (I was using v3.2)
That's what i was saying. I found that using POVRay alongwith MORAY (Moray is a shareware) was much more economical 4 me. I may sound like a marketing agent 4 the software, but trust me, its worth it.

Well Sir Jam Meister, POVRay IS A FREEWARE!!! AS FREE AS THEY COME. DON'T HAVE TO PAY AT ALL. I just wanted to know that what does Bryce have over POVRay that will make me wanna pay for it, and if U can't answer that, I am happy that you don't want to know me.
I can't seem to understand what is so special about Bryce? I use POVRay, a freeware to render my WP's and it works just fine. Maybe I would like it if I could try it out, but it seems that there is no demo or shareware version of Bryce. Well whatever!!!!
What about POVRay? Its a freeware and the renderation is fantastic. My recommendation for 3D wallpapers alongwith maybe Lightwave 7.5 (cost you) http://www.povray.org
