Will the flashing state for the taskbar button look right on an older version of Windowblinds? This is fantastic btw... I'm really impressed with how much Windowblinds has grown to be so much more detailed, faster and more stable. Great job!

okay, I'm back... I'm sorry to say, I don't remember the skins in question nor do I remember a series of skins with different colors being rated wildly different. That's only because I spend more time in the upload queue than I do in the regular skin or wallpaper sections. The amount of time I can manage for the site is usually consumed going through all the work awaiting moderation. the message board and a couple other areas. Every site has some form of ratings. It's a necessary part of dealing with a database driven site. Especially with a database as large as this one. motion, (and everyone else) please realize that there are several things that can affect your ratings. There was a bug in the system for a while that seemed to be causing problems, there are always going to be people that secretly take pleasure in screwing up someone's ratings and there are several admins all looking at the piece as it comes

My understanding of DesktopX is that the objects can be freely used by anyone. That's why there are so many themes using other people's objects. I agree with Chris, there should be at least those two rules applied. The only other place you will see someone upload another artist's work is Winstyles. In that case, you can put together a theme using anyone's skins and wallpaper as long as you use the .suite extension, which does not redistribute the skins. Hopefully you are not se

There's a checkbox called "Check to reset Update Date" - it's the first one in the list. If you check that box, it should put your skin in the list (once it's posted). Which skins are you having trouble with?

wow - you're right! the custom color thingy seems to work differently on non-colorizeable skins. It changes a lot more items like the standard buttons and titlebar buttons but leaves the primary color of the skin intact... pretty cool

/me is glad he's still afraid to use skin studio and just adds attributes with the code editor after the skin is done... grayhaze... notepad for the UIS, Fireworks to create and cut all the images and Skin Studio to add the [fonts] section...
