I'm sorry to hear that too. I wish I knew what happened so we'd have a chance of addressing the issue...

I think it's obvious that Arcila's skins started as direct rips of Adni's work. We removed a few of them for just that reason. With the latest one (not posted yet) I've spent two hours looking for which buttons, titlebar graphics, etc. are used in it. I haven't been able to find any direct copies of existing parts used from another skin (same as pjpowell's comment) even though parts of it look so familiar I fully expected to find the source. I agree they all look like adni's skins and
I didn't care for the web-menu function (too many choices) so I made that (the wheel) the "back" button. The 5th button on my MS optical is used for "close program" - that's a real loss when you get used to it and don't have it (especially for closing pop-ups). The funny thing about the cat-hair problem is I have to turn the mouse over and blow the hair out, half the time when I do this I accidently hit that 5th button and close whatever has the focus at the time... paxx - I had a real
ahhh... that explains why I happily stayed at the table in the casino until all my money belonged to them... ...is that a prerequisite for casino work Bryan??
The 5 buttons are pretty addictive but I like the design of the logitech better, it feels more comfortable (it only has 4 buttons though, really miss that 5th button). The MS optical has a funny idiosyncrasy - a single tiny cat hair gets up in the laser port and then the cursor stops moving until the hair comes out... however, this is not a problem if you don't have a cat in the office...
I love logitech mice, but not the cordless optical. I got one of the early ones and it eats batteries way too fast (a new set every 30 days or so). There's no on/off switch so the red light and transmitter is always on. I've found the tracking on both the logitech and the MS corded optical to be very poor. I've heard MS came up with a new optical system that is much more precise and a circuit that turns off the mouse for the cordless version. Haven't had a chance to try them though...
FREECELL! okay, maybe that's not what you had in mind but... it's the only game I play on my computer... sometimes I go to my son's house for a lan party where a bunch of people play Counter Strike. I usually play the role of decoy by running out and getting shot so they'll know where the bad guys are hidding...
I spent an hour looking at adni's skins and lots of others too trying to find some ripped parts other than the blurred ambient buttons. I finally gave up and just posted it figuring if it was a rip someone would tell us....
and yes... I did notice the similarity...
haha - now that was rude
Maybe it was a temporary glitch... I haven't noticed it but I wasn't on-line for most of the day...
Kelly, I don't know why you would be having trouble seeing the wallpaper section. I don't think it's been closed for bandwidth reasons for many months. Also, if you hit the download limit (100Mb) I believe you get a real specific message telling you that's what happened. Try sending an email to T-Man about the problem, he can fix (or break) anything...
It's fixed now... sorry about that... Thanks for the heads-up WiseOldMan...
sounds like a job for frogboy...
you've got mail... heh - I thought there was something wrong at first because there were only about ten files in the skin... my how the format has changed...
oh no - a pantomime frogboy... btw - I still have the original "Simple" by Luché.
This string could vastly improve the new computerized balloting machines...
listen to paxx... and then, you need to install ObjectBar https://www.stardock.com/products/objectbar/ to use that theme.
hehe - I think it was the Chronosynclastic Infindibulum... coming unstuck in time... must be a very disorienting experience.
that link works ok for me. It doesn't seem to have any weird scripts on that page either, It might be something else that got on your system Koasati... Another alternative to Flash is in the version 10 release of CorelDraw. It's called Rave. I didn't install it so I don't know how well it works but if you have Corel 10 it's in there...
It was just such an interdimensional gateway (hole) opening at an un-oportune moment in Dirk Gently's staircase that caused a couch to become inextricably wedged halfway up the stairs, in 'The Long Dark Tea-time of The Soul'.
To make Explorer window backgrounds transparent: In the Windowblinds configuration window on the "settings" tab make sure it's set to skin explorer backgrounds, then click on "advanced" and put a check in the box "Make Explorer backgrounds semi-transparent". You also need to set your folder options to "use Windows classic folders" from the folder options dialog. ("Tools/Folder Options" on an explorer window's menu.) For more color options (the default is cyan) download "T
no idea... it shouldn't be a problem. What browser do you use? Does it happen with all skins or just one particular skin? What version of Windowblinds are you running?
Great Paxx! I'm learning ASP and .NET... I hope... I get the stuff this weekend and my son is going to try to teach me. This could be one of those 'old dog / new tricks' scenarios...
fonts aren't bad but the underlined links don't look very good...
