probably not much jcg... except maybe some spam... Didn't you get an email contact at Stardock to help with that? Looks like you'll be needing to write her again...

Any excuse for a party is a good one... 2000 skins sounds like an old String Band album... "2000 Skins or The Layers of the Onion" I'm sure someone from Australia will offer to supply the beer...

yeah Doreen, somehow I don't think he'd use a metaphor like "sowing the seeds of dissent to feather his own nest"... hehehe - there can be no confusion there...

oops - I ran across that thread before I came here. I'm afraid I was a bit confrontational because I had seen the two posts here last night. If I had seen this thread first maybe I would have started out with a little more self-control... I remember the Jafo 1 and 2 issue coming up at DA a long time ago. I guess this is the same guy. I know he's not the real one though cause he hasn't corrected my typos... <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/joke.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absm

You can try this utility - Creative Elements Power Tools: http://www.creativelement.com/powertools/ It will let you configure hotkeys to anything you want. The settings you input should over-ride the system settings. It does a lot of other useful stuff too...

berzerka - regular radio stations don't have to pay the per song royalties. They were exempted because their playing a song is considered advertising for the music label. (which probably means they had the money to put up a fight when the RIAA tried to impose the royalties.) The potential of the internet is astounding in its ability to expand information and culture to every corner of the world. It can give anyone access to a global audience. I hate seeing any restrictions that try to k

Skin Browser is a utility that gives you direct access to the skins and wallpapers, message board, etc. at this site. You get it as a bonus for subscribing to Wincustomize. Windowblinds is an application that skins the Windows interface. It allows extreme flexibility in how you can alter the look&feel of the Windows UI. StyleXP allows you to use unsigned themes for Windows XP so there are more variations of the Luna interface to choose from. Windowblinds is the most versatile an

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Internet music broadcasters and the recording industry, opponents in the debate over online music royalties, are both unhappy with a government decision setting rates for webcasters. The U.S. Copyright Office decided Thursday to charge webcasters 70 cents per song heard b

There's a readme file in the skin's folder that tells how to do it. You need to check the "skin explorer backgrounds" and "make explorer backgrounds semi-transparent" boxes in the WB config window (settings/advanced). Then in an explorer window go to tools/folder options and select "use classic windows folders". To make it clear, download "TransTool" from the WB Stuff website: http://go.to/WBStuff

wow - that was strange... when I posted that comment up there (from the skin browser), it returned me to a thread that was made up of the first post in every thread. It looked like a normal message board thread but it wasn't, it was just the first posts from all of them. At the bottom it had the "show entire thread" button. freaky...

Only Pat or Alexandrie can do that. You should email one of them and ask if they can do it for you. or Sign up with your new name. Just remember to change the email address on your old account after you log in so it won't take you to the old account. Then re-upload the wallpaper you have here.

Try posting your question here: news://news.stardock.com/stardock.webblinds That's the newsgroup for help with webblinds. Asking here is good too and usually will get a response but for a problem like yours it's probably best to try the newsgroups for help. I haven't tried that skin with webblinds but I don't think it should cause a problem like that... I suspect something else is going wrong.

oops.. that was the old site layout... Now there is a link at the top of each section. For Beatnik, click on the link called "Beatnik Website", download and install the program, then the skins will work...
