Every skin section relates to a piece of software that is needed to use the skins in the section. For example, Windowblinds skins need a copy of Windowblinds installed on your computer to work. In the titlebar for the skins, there is a link to the software, just click on the program's name...

I sent an email to the "info" address and left a comment (though it didn't register my nick). It's really discouraging to see comments like "I was going to rip this myself". How do these guys figure they will ever be accepted or taken seriously in the skinning community when they promote the theft of artist's work? It's up to the sites and the site admins (this goes for Neowin too) to make their policy regarding plagarism clear to their visitors. They need to start banning rip
it's all Doreen's fault though...
I can't get it to load... all I get is a magic pink scrollbar...
If it keeps happening you can just change the extension on the skin file to .zip and unzip it to a folder in the Windowblinds directory. Make sure the folder is the same name as the UIS file.
we need our resident DJ c242 up there to get a party going.... put a slow one on and turn the lights down...
yep... on XP it should also be a drive icon. Is your C drive removable?
It should appear as a drive in the My Computer window. If it's a shortcut you made to the drive it will show as a folder. In the explorer tree it should show as a drive (I think, I'm on a win2k box right now, I'll check XP's tree view later).
I think there's a newer version of bitstrip that will handle larger files... the bad news is, I don't know where to find it... maybe someone will post a link?
We miss you too... don't stay away so long, it's downright heartbreaking... woohoo! China's back!! XXX
Ahhh... after missing you for so long China it's a real treat to see you show up and an extra treat to see your picture! That's a beautiful portrait, I hope you have it framed and hanging in a special place. I know you still look the same, I've seen recent pictures of you, but what about David - does he still look the same? Men don't seem to age as well as women. (though it seems they do mellow more... )
WindowsFX works on all versions of Windows but some of the effects, like transparent apps, only works on Win2k or WinXP CursorXP works only on Win2k & WinXP... unless I'm cofuzed too...
I've inspected a few games at the casinos in my time... heh - always felt like I needed a funeral director afterwards...
Works fine with ME... and every other version of Windows.
Thanks for the link... both plaxx's walls will be gone (the other one is suspect too because of this obvious rip)...
hmmm... Bryan wears a tux to work? what kind of job could that be? Ambassador - Maitre'd - Funeral Director - ??
yikes! forget the blond icon... maybe just some teeth...
any chance you could get permission from someone at DOT?
now we know what your icon should look like...
KarmaGirl works fine for me... do you have to go into a phone booth to change from JavaBrain? If anybody should be an admin it's you (having the insider info and all)... KarmaGirl needs an icon now...
Is the US still in it?
haha - MadIce - your group looks like a Monty Python episode the cat definitely rounds out the group... sure are a lot of long haired freaks around here... we should be able to put a band together or a free clinic or someting... Koasati - how'd you get away with that in Texas? I always made a mad-dash across the panhandle to avoid being locked up for life... <img src="http://images.stardoc
do you mean with winamp buttons or smart buttons? Smart Buttons haven't been around for very long - they're the newest addition to Windowblinds...
If you want a real shock... here's what another thirty years will do to you... http://www.lightstreamdesign.com/media/David-001.jpg
heh - then both you guys look like I thought you did... I just had to share this one, someone sent me this a few days ago, it's me in 1972... http://www.lightstreamdesign.com/media/David-Oct72.jpg
