Occasional Graphics corruption during battles in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

Sometimes (not always) I get graphic corruption during the battles. Either by a number of rectangles on the screen with mostly pink stripes in it or by what seems likes one of the ships textures being partially stretched over the screen. Windows XP x64 SP1 Athlon 64 X2 3800+ Radeon 9700 pro with Catalyst 6.2 2 GB ram I've installed the dual core driver from AMD (which fixed the spinning problem)

Over here it depends, if customs is active and decides to check the package I have to pay tax. If not it just passes. I have to pay on about 2 out of 10 packages I receive. This is for postal services only, when using DHL or UPS I always have to pay tax :(

My native screen resolution is 1280x1024 so running at 1024x768 fuzzies the image a little bit. Does this mean one of the two can be run at a resolution greater then 1024x768?
