Happy Birthday
Fairyy~
My Object desktop runs out sometimes this summer...Will I renew it ? Absolutely. Its a shame most dont understand how much they don't get with the free shareware versions. I have learned how to do things I never thought i'd be able to do. The price is very minimal for what you get. Besides all the stuff everyone shares with you for " Free " You have the programs that allow you to create or alter to your own needs. You tal
That was an interesting link..but, looks hard to do. I always have trouble following directions I read. I guess i'll leave the cursors to the pros.
Fairyy -- did you remove the old IP before installing the new one? I did the last time before the 2.99 version. But not this time. I just installed in my Stardock Central as an update then rebooted as requested.
Bookmarked it for later...looks interesting tho
The problem is only ONE file of the five with the same names show up. Not only that the icons I had "changed" reverted back to the Windows default icons!!! It's like I have to start all over again to rebuild my files! Has anyone had this problem. I didn't lose any of my recolored IP's ...but I didn't m
There should an updated version going up very shortly to address the crashing or problems on startup those users are having due to certain themes. Fairyy~, where did you download and install IconPackager from? ~I downloaded from my Stardock Central..
That is odd..but I get same thing on your preview and if I try to save it the dimensions are 320x240.....I just assumed you had reduced the size. Gremlins again.
~Well..my problems seem totally different from the rest. I am unable to download any new Icon packages since installing version 2.99....I decided to update to 3.0 hoping it would fix it. Nope.....still get same error messageafter I download any of the new packages when I go to unzip them it says " Error: Failed to load the OD.Zip.dll ..then it says " Please reinstall the package " I have reinstalled several different IP ...same message. I have reinstal
Windows hides file extensions by default, never made any sense to me to do that, but that's MS for you. Go to Tools > Folder Options > View tab...... un-tick "Hide extensions for known file types" > OK. Open C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Start Menu\Programs\Startup Add a shortcut to sdmcp.exe there. </TABL
Thanks again Corky..you really are a lot of help all the time. I forget to thankyou..sometimes you fix things for me..but your posting to others.
This is definitely an MCP problem.... look in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Stardock .... place sdmcp.exe in your startup folder. (you can double click the file to start it, without a reboot, and your systray should work.) I had to make all folders " not hidden" and I've found that folder..what I found
Thanks Corky..I've been searching for that thread ....I looked in so many places..I really want to fix this sys tray thing..its driving me crazy.
Corky, the other night you wrote some directions to someone else concerning their system tray not showing up on object dock ..I had answered that I had same problem with all other application too . No sys tray. You wrote a few fixes to try..and I cant find the post since the night before. Its like its deleted. Maybe you can remember who or where it was..I needed the rest of the directions. Thanks in advance
His downloaded SS isnt the only one I've seen do that " shrink " thing. I just assumed that the shots were larger previews than the normal. Usually a single click on pic and it enlarges.. Mekon..are you saying you never get the full size view at all ?
I must be invisible in the forum again.....why do I bother .
If the SS( download ) opens in a new window in a smaller size..click on the downloaded image ( once ) and it will enlarge to full size.
Not sure what you mean...when I click on the image on your SS..I get a small preview pic..when I click on the " download " Im seeing a full size view ...this is a link to the download of one of your SS Link
I'm curious if anyone can fix this problem..I " had " system tray on OD when I first installed it...I only have regular version, not the plus. I checked to not have the sys tray at that time. Since then..I cant get it back on any other applications ..." Right Click " menu ..I check off the System tray option and all I see is the separator ..Any DesktopX Themes..same thing..no sys tray ....I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling....so you are not
That sounds like a bug to me. They should be able to account for smaller resolutions. Not sure i'd call it a bug..but I agree there should be an easier fix for this. But I dont think it affects many..basically people that jump from 800x600 to 1280x1024 then back again...Most people don't jump back and
Widgets already remember their position, Meowy. Automatically. My widgets have always remembered their position...the only time I have a problem is if I close a widget and I'm on a different resolusion...I've had widgets " lost " because they went below taskbar. But thanks to buzzh58 for figuring out a
~You may not have a finished blind or a widget. But, you have finished off my day. Thanks for the laughs. You should stick to writing. And...you'll be happy to know..I haven't finished one thing today that I was supposed to fin...
oh well maybe sometime i'll purchase plus. Its a great program and the trails are cool
~I havent done the latest update but the previous one wasnt working for me either. I just havent bothered downloading any icon packages cos I cant seem to get them to apply. I'll just wait... Im on dial up also and these updates are time consuming...especially when you have to uninstall/reinstall more than once.
Jafo: Yeah...dealt with a fair swag of them..... and Norton is behaving, too. Annoying thing was...I just paid the next sub...2 days ago....and today it went belly-up. If I hadn't just paid again I'd have walked.....found an alternate I also had the paid version of Nortons and had nothing
